Social Butterfly Stamp! - Bella Scrimgeour - March 20, 2018

Participate in a group thread of at least ten characters each with three or more posts. The thread must be completed and archived.

The Social Butterfly stamp is one of my favorite stamps and I really want to earn it. Rather than just gather a bunch of characters for it and try to figure out what's going down, I'm going to offer a prompt so you can choose to use characters of yours that you think would work well in this sort of thread:

A pop-up vendor in magical London welcomes 10 seemingly random individuals into a tent to demonstrate a new magical item, only for him to lock them in there once he'd rounded them all up. Someone tries to blast away the tent, only to realize that their wands don't work inside! How will they get out? Why were they brought in there in the first place? Will everyone work together to escape? Will it end in insults and fist-fighting? The choice is yours.

And thus, here is the character list:
  1. Bella Scrimgeour
  2. Timothy Ainsworth
  3. Shawn Delaney
  4. Porphyria Dempsey
  5. Rufus Bixby
  6. @"Elsie Beauregard"
  7. Elliot Carmichael
  8. Maggie Darrow
  9. Nectar Shinnick
  10. Balthazar Urquart
  11. Terpsichore Van Helsing
  12. J. Alfred Darrow

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Roberto Devine - March 20, 2018

I offer Timothy Ainsworth for this

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Fortuna Bixby - March 20, 2018

I offer @"Magdalena Backus" for it!

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Porphyria Dempsey - March 20, 2018

I'll throw in Porphyria!

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Rufus Bixby - March 20, 2018

I shall throw Rufus Bixby in the mix.

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Elsie Kirke - March 21, 2018

I like to torture Elsie a lot, let's do it.

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Cassius Lestrange - March 21, 2018

Elliot Carmichael is here

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Maggie Darrow - March 21, 2018

Please sign me up with Maggie Darrow if she's approved in time!

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Ophelia Devine - March 21, 2018

You could probably take any of mine reasonably, but these folks are most likely to be in London:

- @"Ophelia Dippet" is bffs with Phyri and could be out with her to do wedding/bridesmaid shopping. She would become an incomprehensible slobbering mess if she was seemingly stuck with Rufus again.

- J. Alfred Darrow lives near London and is Maggie's cousin but we haven't really established whether they're close enough to hang out. He's not really ace chaperone material (if Maggie even bothers with chaperones?) but might be ideal if she was trying to get away with something. Also generally useless with magic since he's out of practice.

- Depending on the date Rush Khatri might still be hand fasted to Elsie, so. :P

- Reuben Crouch is a rover and would be more amused than anything.

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Nectar Shinnick - March 21, 2018

This girl.

I have no opinions either way, so if you/others have a preference, let me know and I'll add them to the list! We'll have filled the roster for the 10 people, but if 1-2 want to join in I won't mind <3

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Aldous Crouch - March 21, 2018

Get at me.

And by "Me" I mean Balthazar Urquart who needs to get out more.

Unless one more person wants to try and squeeze someone in here, I think 11 is a solid number to try and complete this stamp in a timely manner! My next question is: When is the best IC date for this to happen? Are there certain things going on in a certain time frame that would make this thread anymore amusing for people?

Personally, I think post-Celtic Fair would be especially amusing with the whole Witch Weekly article that was published on March 18th. Maybe somewhere between the 19th and the 21st? Give me your thoughts!

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Maggie Darrow - March 21, 2018

Don't mind IC. OOC I can commit a lot more time at the weekends if we're looking to do this fairly quickly.

Also Lynn I have no strong feelings one way or the other about Alfred and Maggie being close or not but unless Hamish actively told her to stay away from him there's no reason they couldn't be there together Smile

Hamish wouldn't do such a silly thing!

Like Lauren, I'm most free on the weekends! The only days I'm 100% out are Tuesdays as I teach AND have Sparks, and I'm content with a "sit down and pound this out" or a "try to post every couple days" thing #chill. No pref on IC dates!

RE: Social Butterfly Stamp! - Terpsichore Van Helsing - March 21, 2018

Is there a opening left for Cora?
