Charming Resolutions 2020 - Bellona Zabini - December 30, 2019
Exactly what it says—both IC and OOC resoultions to uphold on-board in 2020! Mine are...
- Maintain a better Online/Offline balance
- Get at least one of my debs/bachelors engaged
- Immortality for Bellona
- Have a meaningful thread with each of my fellow Charmers <3
- Remember that it’s 1890 now xD

- Get some of my long-time hurlables at least courting, especially Richard Gladstone and Lily Huddleston
- Take better care of my mental health - 2019 was horrible for it.
- Make at least 3 ic posts per month per character.
- Try and make it down to the states to visit my significant other.
- Beat the video games I recently got.

- Get Maddie either married off, or to a DGAF stage and moved on with her career
- Get Back to 10 characters (specifically make a male character, a WC character, a child)
- Don't let any character go idle this year due to inactivity
- Make Maddie and Benevolence Immortal here
- Get all characters to over 50 posts
- Find my old stamp count and start tracking stamps again.
- Finish my House renovations and get a handle on my post partum

- Get my life together and be more active again. (Which should be achievable after we move and get settled!) And get more involved again, too.
- Eventually get all my people back to being active.
- Character Specific:
- Post a lot more for Billie again. Have her maybe learn to fly. Make all the friends.
- Make Archer's life hell, but also have him make one good friend. And go on more ghost/werewolf/vampire adventures.
- Hurl Zachariah, even though he pines after Rosie.
- Post a lot more for Billie again. Have her maybe learn to fly. Make all the friends.
- Work on figuring out stamps I neglected.
- All the threads!
- Take better care of my health/mental health, and not just my wife's/everyone else's.

- Find a comfortable school/work/charming balance
- Reach 300 posts for Calla and make a total of 500 post between all characters
- Have at least one major plot point with each character
- Develope a more diverse character listing. I.e. older ages, different classes, have a muggleborn, and more.
- Have a successful hurling
- Earn at least 20 stamps. Particularly would like to earn the Novella.
- Work on improving the quality of my writing: grammar,
wordiness, over tone, consistency
- Make new friends at the new campus. Don't just lurk a home. Be social.

- Get my shit together and start posting more regularly
- Be better at hurling. Acacia and Sweetie will be courtable next year, need to do right by them
200 post immortality for Alina by Februarycackles with pure victory as of 1.31.2020
- Posting 5+ for at least half of my characters each month, and at least 2 for the rest
- Get more adoptables taken because I'm a determined cookie
- Update my adoptables
- On that note, update my poor networking
- Get my characters higher on the post count for the members list because I'm competitive

- Survive spring semester of grad school
- Keep up regular Charming breaks during spring semester
- Plot with a player I haven't plotted with before
- Have a #DramaticReveal in a plot
- Not go into every activity check thinking 'well, I suppose we'll just have to hope for the best because idek who's been posted'

- A Plan of Posting: I have a reeeaalllyyy bad habit of letting threads go dead [if you've been subject to this I love you dearly for your patience, I swear it's not because I've gotten bored] - while I don't mind threads going dead and reviving them, I know that it can be a peeve of others that I need to keep in mind. I'm hoping to just make my posting more consistent - not necessarily more threads just for the sake of quantity, but seeing that more of my threads are archived and completed rather than dead and uncompleted xD
- Update adoptable ads!
- Have my characters develop more relationships with other characters - both romantic and friendships
- Like everyone else, maintain a better online/offline balance!
- Aaallllsooooo I'd like to read more and thus perhaps participate in more book club descriptions!

- — Spend more time on Charming and less worrying about things I can't control. I've lost so much time online this year because I've been mentally drained and unable to conjure an ounce of muse.
— Meet someone from Charming. My best candidate is Nichole (#FLbuddies, ayy) at this point.
— Equal development. I have a bad habit of giving attention to a handful of characters and neglecting the rest, but I want that to change! Even if it means a steady stream of open threads, it's still development.
— No more dead threads. 2019 has been characterized by moments of extreme muse and activity followed by cricket noises, and it's leading to forgotten and dead threads. I don't mind reviving, but I know some people do and I hate to be That Person.
— Keep a steady thread/post count tracker. I did this with ease in 2018, but I apparently suck now. :P
— Be a better Lead Wench. I slap myself on the wrist whenever someone shouts "IT'S FRIDAY" in the group chat and I haven't written or even found a topic for my article. >.>

- Balance my writing time better between Charming/fic/original projects. The first two were very much my procrastination last year and I promised myself I would cobble together a proper draft of something by 2020... Charmers, please hold me accountable!
- Meanwhile, on Charming... it's Elias' turn to be my hurling priority. Maybe it will finally be his year?
- Try to take as many open threads as I make!
- I don't know... write some Prophet articles?

- find somersby a non hurling plot
- Make 2+ posts for everyone each month
- Have a major plot for each of my current active characters
- Up date Character apps as their birthdays happen
- Get each character I currently have to 75+ posts

The fact that I intended to and never did because I procrastinated to the point of forgetting is not the point, nor is it in any way ironic or indicative of my 2020 experience.

I... think I actually did ok? I accomplished these two for sure! A year ago I'd never plotted with Finn, and now Gideon & Billie are one of the best things I've done :D And #DramaticReveals abounded with Ben & Melody this spring.
