Hey, how's your summer going? And all that other pleasantries stuff they teach us in etiquette.

Guess what? I was made Quidditch Captain. Didn't expect it since I only joined the team last year but there it was - the badge.

Tell me you're trying out. I'll abduct you and put you on a broom if you aren't.

Hey, my beloved Royal mess! Summer has been the best, you would be surprised with how many times I have managed to fly and not get caught, right when I thought some adult should be keeping better attention at the sky. You know I was never one to learn etiquette, but I must say, all the worries with an important wedding and a few other events are starting to ge to me - you know how they say, listen to too many complaints from others and you might just get a headache.

Did they really have you as a captain? Oh, no, that's the end of our winning chances. And to think I considered trying to join the team in the first place.

I'm merely joking, cousin. I might have let out a happy squeal when I first read your words, though we will have to keep my reaction as a secret. Have they really chosen you? Not that I find it too hard to believe, but it surprises me they made such a good decision. You will be a great captain, I'm sure of it. Not to mention, of course I'll be trying out now - this comes as another good reason.

Do tell me, have you been playing a lot of quidditch this summer, or at least flying around? It seems to be like these past few months couldn't have passed slower.

With our required etiquette classes at Hogwarts, has nothing stuck? Your family must be horrified. How do you get through a meal without knowing which fork to eat your salad with?

Har har. And I beg of you, De Loncrey, don't call me cousin when we're not even related. I personally never understood that as a term of friendship. And indeed, they have. I am looking forward to finding out who the other captains are since Ravenclaw and Slytherin both have Captains that graduated last school year.

I did play a bit. My brother has a new countryside estate and I paid him many visits that he wasn't entirely pleased by.

I must say, there is nothing quite awful as not knowing which cutlery is best appropriate. Their looks of horror! So much attention from people at our table, simply because one dear child doesn’t know better. Of course, I find ways to brighten their day - by deliberately choosing the worst cutlery possible, and making it work with whichever food has enchanted my stomach.

Can’t a girl have some fun with stupid nicknames? You would be a dear cousin, if part of my family. Given you’re not, I’m glad to consider you a close and great friend. Whoever gets the position, I am sure they won’t be nearly as good as you are. After all, I am hoping to join your team - couldn’t want it if the captain isn’t good, right?

Good! As long as you haven’t broken anything of importance, or caused a serious accident, he could have been pleased with yourself. Family is important, having them close even more - that is, if they’re pleasant people to have at small distances.

I am hoping it will be Eldin Bones. I quite like getting on his nerves and even consider him a friend of sorts. A friend I like to actvely annoy. I bet he was made Head Boy, I'd put galleons on it. I guess we shall see if my guess is correct on September the first.

I am the most pleasant family member my brother could hope for, you are right. He is very lucky I visit so much.
