Getting Back Into Gear - Edric Umbridge - August 2, 2019
As most of you know, I've had absence or scarcity notices up almost every every month since I started my new job back in February, but I'm hoping this fall I'll be able to fall - no pun intended! - back into my regular routine. Work is still hell, but at least I'm familiar with the policies and have a normal schedule going now that I've got a permanent spot in the one-year-old classroom.
I've realized that the hardest part of getting back into writing is that I have so many characters that used to have so many things going on - things that have either fizzled out due to scarcity or are past a point where picking up where they left off makes sense from a timeline perspective. Fortunately, literally every single character of mine is either an adoptable or has played family members and/or an active friend group, which is why I'm asking you guys to help me a little!
I'm not asking for plots, or even for threads, but for ideas or a point of reference. What's been going on in my characters' families? What might be on their mind right now? Are there any pressing matters in your characters' lives that my character might have an opinion on? I just need a kick start!

AGNES: Your pal Nelson did not get a Prefect badge in the mail, surprise surprise. Currently he is Having Fears about OWLs and is trying to study as much as humanly possible.
DIO: There is a BABYYYY AHHHHHh and I can promise you Ari adores him
FINNIAN: Lorcan is just Byrne-ing it up I guess
FRIDA: Kristoffer graduated in May! And doesn't care about getting a job yet so is just planning to dick around for a year (or two). Frida can have opinions on this if she dares. (Bet she's looking forward to Hogwarts without him xDDD)

Side note, Bree. Now I can't stop thinking about the Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch cause you got a Seer character named Agnes. Was this intentional?
