Both young ladies undoubtedly knew them by this point however Connie went over the rules one more time just to be safe. One never knew when a certain someone's sister might follow in her elder's footsteps after all.

Another duel, another older student. This really was an adventure! Claire couldn't help but wonder how exactly her twin was fairing. This was certainly a challenge. Thinking of what she must do, she glanced at the older girl's robes and realized that there was a good way to distract her! "Wingardium Leviosa!" She tried to practice this one a lot. Came in handy with pranks. Right now it was to lift the ends of Miss Weasley's robes. If it worked, hopefully the Hufflepuff's spell would reflect that instead of her!

Unconcered by the first year's spell, Sapphire decided to use the Slug Vomiting Charm on Miss Bénet.

Unsurprisingly the older girl took the first round, although Miss Benet had made a good attempt, even if she had found herself throwing up slugs. Connie furrowed her brow as she reversed the spell, not entirely sure she approved of the spell itself but unable to argue with the results.
"Miss Weasley takes the first round and may begin the second."

Sapphire figured, after throwing up slugs, that the little first year could do with some cheering, and so she used the cheering charm.

The Gryffindor did not appreciate the slugs. She had heard of the next spell. A few other Gryffindors had mentioned it. Claire realized that even if she was hit by the spell, a knockback jinx would be better. "Flipendo!"

The first year's spell failed to meet expectations when instead poor Miss Benet was overcome with fits of hysterics and unable to complete her incantation.
"Miss Weasley takes the duel. Better luck next year Miss Benet."
