Monet Brown vs. Beatrix Borgin - Carmelina Cramming - March 3, 2019

9th February, 1889 — The Great Hall, Hogwarts
Carmelina had seen neither of these girls participating in the previous round, so she recited the rules again for them to be on the safe side, and then nodded brightly towards the Slytherin. "Miss Brown to start, please."

Monet wasn't all that sure how she felt about going up again Miss Borgin. She didn't really know the other girl but she had found she quite liked her following the release of Jemima's diary. But, when it came down to it, it was still a competition they were in and she was quite competitive herself.

With the niceties taken care of, Monet raised her wand and cast a jelly legs jinx to start the duel off.

Not a fan of losing, even if it was just a single round, Monet couldn't help but to frown and even glare a bit at her opponent. Raising her wand, she said, "Incarcerous." Hopefully the magically procured ropes would bind her opponent.

Once again, Miss Brown's spell might have been executed nicely, if Miss Borgin had not slowed her down enough to dodge it with ease. Accordingly, Carmelina awarded the elder girl the duel.
