It's Official! (Charming Movie Night) - Edric Umbridge - August 7, 2018

I recently suggested we have a movie night in THIS thread for the movie THE GUERNSEY LITERARY AND POTATO PEEL PIE SOCIETY, which stars a handful of charming characters: Lily James (Hannah Pettigrew), Michiel Huisman (Edric Umbridge), Matthew Goode (Roberto Devine), Jessica Brown Findlay (Cordelia Porter), and Glen Powell (Charles Caulfield). Of course, we can't just settle for one movie, now can we? Wink

I'm also suggesting The Imitation Game, which is another movie set in WWII era and stars a handful of Charming characters as well: Benedict Cumberbath (Aldous Crouch), Kiera Knightley (Emma Macmillan), and Matthew Goode (Roberto Devine) because apparently he's in everything, I've noticed.

SO TIMES. I'll def wanna watch Guernsey first because I've been waiting for it since Beenie went to visit Kayte. It isn't released on American Netflix until August 10th, so that's the earliest we can do it. I've set up a poll for y'all to choose your date and time! If we get this sorted out correctly, Kayte will count it as an official Charming movie night :P

It's a 4ish-hour commitment for both movies, with each being ~2-hours long!

I can do none of those times, sorry friends Sad I'm away this weekend and the kids don't usually go to bed until 7:30 so I can't just stop and watch a movie lol

I can join for the second one on Friday/Monday/Tuesday after the kiddos go to bed tho Smile

Well then these times won't work at ALL, as I'm not about to watch without the person who suggested it to me in the first place :O

Alternatively: If neither y'all caught this one, is there another time we could watch together because I'd 100% stream these twice? :D

I also realize I might not be around on the 11th because #HotelWoes so.

I can realistically do any night after 7:30! I'm just away Saturday/Sunday this weekend lol

Monday or Tuesday evening for me but my kids go to bed at 7:30 which is 8:30 EST, so I wouldn't be on until then. >> I WANT TO SEE THAT FIRST ONE YOU SAID THOUGH FOR SURE.

I won't be home until around 6PM PST so I will miss the first ~3 hrs of this, but I've also already seen Imitation Game so I may be able to catch the second movie if it's not too far in. xD
