I heard you were involved in the troll attack on Honeydukes? Are you alright? I can't imagine taking on a troll without magic, Zel you're crazy! I'm not sure if Ianthe (new owl, long story) will find you at the hospital or at home, but I've included some of Mrs. H's cookies.
I do hope you're alright, I feel like we haven't talked in ages, I feel terrible this is the first time I've thought to write and it's because you've been injured! I had assumed you were busy with all of this fog nonsense (of which I am immensely jealous, but not when you get hurt!), please stay safe, I hope I get to see you soon!
It was a bit difficult, I'll admit, but thank you for the cookies. (Mrs. H is incredible!) I'm back at home. Well, I was at the hospital, and I'm still working, but right now I'm back at home. Magical Accidents & Catastrophes is keeping me tremendously busy.
Oh darling, I'm glad to hear you're alright. I you need anything I'd be happy to bring it over, I would just about take on a troll myself just to get out of the house today. I can't imagine how busy you are. Please stay safe. Keep in touch with your adventures, I'm running out of books to read.
Most of my adventures involve taking fog measurements and occasionally reporting to my brother-in-law, I'm afraid. I've also been neck-deep in tomes at the library trying to find an origin on this thing, but that's not going very well, either. Best we've got is that it's probably a curse.
Are you going to do the expedition? Brannon would never allow me, but it does seem like the sort of thing you'd do, you Gryffindor.
Well, that's not very exciting, but I suppose you wouldn't make it very long if there were things like trolls running around every day. I wish I could get to the library, I would gladly help you do research. If you send a book you need looked at I'd be more than happy to go through it and send back notes. Or if you bring some back to your house I'd happily help you scour through old dusty texts.
I was not allowed to even think about signing up. Several people told me no, but I'm barely allowed out of the house right now, so I didn't even ask. I was told no without even having to, fancy that! I don't think it would be something I'd be very useful for anyway. Without magic, I'd be fairly useless.
Well I'm not going either - we're organizing it, for one, and for two, I don't think I'd do well with a bunch of civilians. No offense. It's rather rude of everyone to tell you no, anyways - you got better N.E.W.T. results than I did.
I enclosed a book on Ancient Greek curses, if that'll help alleviate things for you.
