it's off to work we go -
Roman Crouch - May 3, 2025
May 5, 1895 — Roman's Office; Ministry of Magic
Roman's job often had him hopping as well as meeting with the department heads and assistant department heads pretty regularly. He had just finished compiling his report on different proposed policies people had sent in and had weeded out which were actually worth anyones time rather than simply "let's have a holiday for cheese toasties" or something. People could be odd.
Next on his agenda was a meeting with Timoleon Maxime. He wondered what the younger man had to say. He cleared his desk of his previous task so that he could devote his full attention to the assistant head.

Leo hated taking time out of his day to do things that Murdock asked of him, but he was still his superior (ugh), so it wasn’t like he could argue with him over having to do his job. The old man would have to retire sometime, and Leo could only hope that it was soon.
He knocked on the door once before stepping in, offering a curt nod before he sat in the chair in front of Crouch, hands folding on top of the desk. “The conjured object disposal proposal,” Leo started out in lieu of a greeting, “where is the signature at on it?” He and Greyback worked on it last week to submit, trying to get clarification on who was responsible when conjured or transfigured items get left in shared spaces – Leo was tired of it falling on his department because he could use the workers in better places. “We’ve had everything from floating teacups to a chair that tried to bite someone. It should fall on another department to do the cleanup.”
