Introducing Antelope

Personal life: Antelope is an upper class girl, her family are on the lower end of that class and a few bad seasons away from potentially having to sell it all and go middle class. This means she likely isn't running in the same circles as the fabulously wealthy financial nobility, but it does mean she has probably been to some of the same parties and will have existing friendships within that circle as its not exactly public knowledge that her family are having to work a little harder for their station. I would like her to have a part time governess who just helps polish her, but she is prone to regressing a little as she mixes with other children at school and during her hobbies.

She grew up in Buckinghamshire, but her family spend a lot of time in Hogsmeade as well so either location works for long term connections.

Her primary hobby beyond typical upper class pursuits is plants and fungi, she probably can be spotted in the woods outside wellingtonshire foraging and just generally enjoying nature. This would be a good place to run into her and befriend her.

There is a chance she has been caught trying on other faces in private, she doesnt like to use her abilities for deception since getting in trouble with her parents for it, but pranks and tomfoolery are very enjoyable to her.

School life: Her driving force in life is to make everyone's life a little better for having her in it. Part of this is due to her pathological need for friendship and attachments so if she becomes a friend she will be extremely loyal and forgiving of any flaws in the other person. In class she is very smart, she is lucky that she has this base level of intelligence as she does well in her tests despite often leaning into the class clown route to try and brighten people's day. She will go out of her way to make sure noone is left behind, helping people finding ingredients and sharing her notes with them.

I plan on her applying for prefect and also being president of garden club (applications pending) so those circles would be a good way for her to mix with other students and to find fun threads. I see her as a supportive prefect as opposed to the more disciplinary prefect, making sure everyone Is doing well and trying to cheer up those around her. Docking her peers house points or otherwise putting barriers between them seeing her as her friend would likely be out of her character.

If there is anyone at the breakfast table trying to make people start the day with a giggle then she is likely to be write in the middle of things and would rather people be laughing at her than not laughing at all.

She is in various school clubs, divination, exploding snap, garden and potions specifically but would happily join more if a friend encouraged her. She even tried out for quidditch in her second year but only succeeded in giving everyone a much needed laugh.

Romance: She is of course only 15, but she is probably demisexual and with her strong need for attachments and affectionate nature a schoolyard romance is something that could very easily happen for her. She is the sort to fall head over heels with someone quite quickly if they give her what she emotionally craves, but also similarly the sort to get her heart broken.
