early childhood
1876 - 1888

1876: Clora Layne Hunniford was born on the 20th day of November as the first and only child to Ottis and Eulalie Hunniford (née Powall).

1880: Clora would start receiving lessons from a governess/tutor, who would often come to the Hunniford home.

1883: Clora may or may not have showcased her first sign of magic on accident. On one, warm spring day, she pointed her tiny finger at what seemed to be a nearby bush full of Geraniums, which caused even more Geraniums to grow. She would look at the bush with a wide-eyed expression; she didn't expect this to unfold as it did. Tears would begin to well up in her eyes as she not only felt a mix of excitement but also guilt and fear.

1887: Clora would receive an acceptance letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry by or around her eleventh birthday. While her parents were not exactly thrilled at first and disapproved of her going there, even though they had gone to Hogwarts themselves, their attitudes began to change; the excitement in Clora's eyes said it all for them. Her mother eventually shared that going to Hogwarts wouldn't be as bad of an idea after all.

1888 - 1895

1888-89 [First Year]: Clora began attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the traditional age of eleven and was eventually sorted into Hufflepuff during the Sorting Ceremony. She took a quick interest in Potions and Transfiguration, having to have excelled in both classes.

1889-90 [Second Year]: Second year was just the same as the previous year as she continued on with her educational journey at Hogwarts. Upon encouragement, however, Clora took it upon herself to try out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. Fortunately, she was accepted to become the team's Seeker.

1890-91 [Third Year]: In the summer that had followed Clora's second year, she and her parents had traveled to Italy to explore the country as tourists. Upon starting a new school year, however, it became apparent that all third years had to take new and upcoming lessons for the term. Clora had chosen Care of Magical Creatures and Arithmancy as the electives that she would participate in throughout the school year. While she had found Care of Magical Creatures rather niche, which was why she found it challenging, she found Arithmancy to be rather useful. During this time, she would take a break from playing Quidditch to focus on her studies.

1891-92 [Fourth Year]: Upon starting her fourth year at Hogwarts, Clora was filled with excitement in wanting to return to Hogwarts, though she felt something was off. In the summer that had followed her third year, she had spent the summer in Brazil with her parents and her mother would often come home late in the night. While she was eager to share her newfound knowledge with her friends, rumors began to spread once school was back in session, though it was never spoken of again.

1892-93 [Fifth Year]: Fifth year for Clora was the same as the last as she continued her educational journey at Hogwarts while also beginning to study for her O.W.L.s later in the year.

1893-94 [Sixth Year]: In the summer that had followed her fifth year, Clora received her O.W.L. Scores. It became apparent that she had failed Astronomy and Care of Magical Creatures. It was likely that Clora never really took interest in the classes much.

Upon starting her sixth year, however, Clora proceeded to take on three N.E.W.T.-level classes: History of Magic, Potions, and Transfiguration. As the school year progressed, rumors began to spread even more like wildfire. It had been said for quite some time that her mother has been in the company of the same sex, a person who is not Clora's father, during their trip to Brazil the summer after Clora's third year.

Clora had a great bond with her mother, so when the news had broken out about the possible affair and that it was true, it broke her heart. The thought of her mother being unfaithful was unacceptable; Clora knew that her mother was in the wrong. While she wanted to remain at least loyal to her mother, Clora knew that she had to support her father and that the family was at stake due to this unfortunate circumstance.

During this time, however, Clora tried out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team once again, and regained her position as Seeker.

1894-95 [Seventh Year]: TBD

Clora was a person of many talents and passions. She was known for her quick wit and sharp intelligence. Beneath her outward confidence and creativity, however, she struggled with a sense of introspection and self-doubt.

Clora had always been quite a daydreamer since she a kid; she was often lost in her imagination and oblivious to the world that surrounded her. It was quite obvious that her parents had always encouraged her independence and creativity; Clora had spent hours poring over books, drawing pictures, and writing fascinating stories. She was a complex and enigmatic person, driven by her inner world and her newfound desire to make a difference in the world.
