Meet Kaatjie! Born 1883, she's an incoming first year at Hogwarts, and Don Juan Dempsey's daughter from a secret marriage. Kaat grew up in the Netherlands until her mom died in 1892, and has lived with relatives in Britain ever since. I am seeking probably MCAB relations with a branch I can hijack — ideally, the parent your character isn't immediately related to is Kaatjie's aunt or uncle and can be Dutch.

Louisa Clearwater has some familial extensions
Benedict Sterling's father was muggleborn but his stepfather wasn't!

Cousins of Benevolences on either side - either the Montagues, or her mums side - who I didn't give a maiden name.

They are upper end MCPB - and would have had a real reason to hide/cover up a bastard.

When I think of the Netherlands I think tulips, so could still have a floral/herbology connection if you wanted but I'm super agnostic
