I Miss You - Jeremy Ashford - June 6, 2024

March 27, 1894
Dearest Sadie,

I called on you this morning only to have your aunt tell me you are unwell. I do hope you recover soon and that I might once again be able to spend time in your company. I had hoped to see you last night, I'm sure you would have been delighted in some of my school day tales. But I suppose I shall have to store those away until you are well enough. Until then I hope these flowers bring you comfort and a smile to your lips.
Yours Sincerely,
J.A.

Dearest Sadie,

I don't know if your aunt told you, but I called again today. She said there had been no improvement. You must know how sorry I was to hear this. Please rest up so you might be feeling better soon. It pains me to think of you indisposed.
Yours Sincerely,
J.A.

Mr. Ashford,

I am very sorry for not having written sooner. There is a lot up in the air at the moment and all I can tell you is that I am alright, but unfortunately cannot have any visitors for the moment.

There is something we need to discuss and I would prefer to do it in person, but I will new a few day's time before I can. Will you hold on for a little while longer?

Thank you for the flowers, they are absolutely lovely.

Mr. Ashford,

I apologize yet again for the lapse in writing, it has been a long week. Your patience with me is appreciated more than I can say. I think I am finally ready for visitors. If you wouldn't mind calling at the attached address, thought I know it does not make much sense, this is where I will be. Tomorrow morning is good, if you are free, otherwise let me know a time that works for you.
