Misses & Matrons Exhibition of Spellcraft
On June 27th*, the genteel ladies of Wizarding Britain will have the opportunity to compete in the Misses & Matrons Exhibition of Spellcraft, a more feminine way to demonstrate their magical skills than things like dueling tournaments! Throughout the day, contestents will participate in demonstrations five rounds of things like charmwork and conjuration as they (politely) battle it out for the top spot!
The married (and widowed) and the unmarried (regardless of age) will compete in separate pools. The winner of each will open the Misses & Matrons ball with the first dance the next evening! Winners also will receive a small purse of five galleons.
This will be your first NEW opportunity to take home this brand new beauty:

Win a played, IC competition (not by default~).
From an organizational perspective, this will be similar to a Potion Breweing Competition, wherein contestents will be in
groups (not paired off) that are cut down again and again until only the winner is (metaphorically) left standing. In each round, characters will have
72 hours from
moderation (not the previous poster) to make their post.
Characters will compete in the areas of (in order)
Charms,
transfiguration, illusion, and
conjuration. Those who make it to the final round will choose what to perform for their last hurrah.
