Look, summer is fast approaching. That means, among other things, at least a couple of movie nights! What I'm looking for from you is suggestions of movies that meet one or more of the following briefs:
- 3+ Charming Faces
- 1800s
- Quickies (100 min or less)
- Nostalgic Favs
- Charming Creatures (features goblins, vampires, ghosts, werewolves, merfolk, centaurs)
Ideally they don't suck, or are so bad they're hilarious xD

- The Gentlemen (Rufina Mulciber, Everett Swann, Emrys Selwyn)
- Saltburn (Henry Berkwood and Pandora Foxglove which is only two, but also why are you not using Barry Keoghan and also see below re: weird things)
1800s
- Netflix's Persuasion and MJ is legally required to watch it
- Poor Things (you should always watch weird shit with your friends)
- Mr. Malcolm's List

Excuse you. If we do Persuasion if it's not the one from 2007 I'm not watching. :P
Other films I like:
– The Sound of Metal (idk just Ishmael, but one of my forever faves)
– Far From The Madding Crowd 2015 (1800s!)
– The Green Knight (...I was going to put this down as 'weird shit', which I now realise was not one of the briefs but. I love it.)
– Dead Poets Society (nostalgic favs)
– Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (nostalgic favs, animated)
– Sense & Sensibility 1995 (1800s)
– Ex Machina (not 90 mins but I think quite short? also my fav)
– About Time (idk what category but one of the few romcoms I love)
– Lisa Frankenstein (SORT OF 1800s there is an 1800s man?? so bad it's good)
– Bottoms (90 mins)
– Get Out (90 mins ish, it's short)
– Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (nostalgic favs)
– The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (Phyri Dempsey, Tycho Dodonus, Ben Sterling for charming faces; also ~charming creatures, truly the worst film ever made)
