Hark! Some News <3 - Philomena Sprout - December 27, 2023
Dearest Charming friends, I write to you with news a-plenty! Some positively wonderful, some not so wonderful but all in all nothing horrible so at least we have that.
Anywho, the wonderful news is that I’m engaged! Family on both sides are overjoyed, so let the complicated wedding/s planning commence! Everyone’s asking about dates and we have none in mind since members on both sides of our families either have trouble traveling or simply cannot travel. Either way, I’ve dove into wedding brainstorm mode so don’t mind me if you hear me rambling about things or receive random links out of the blue with zero context.
In the not so wonderful news, a few months ago my dad was diagnosed with cancer, which I haven’t really been ready to share far and wide until now. His treatments haven’t gone without trouble which explains my harried absences, but his recent treatment is so far going well, so fingers crossed for smooth sailing from here on out. That being said, the family has got a bit of a journey ahead of us so please be gentle with me. I’ll likely be traveling a lot, so my brain will be scattered. <3
More specifically for Charming-related things:
- If you’d like any specific threads revived, please ask, I’m almost always more than down to continue any past threads! See here for more info!
- If it seems I end up playing favorites, or post shorter posts please don’t take it personally! I’ve found my muse is flighty, so some posts may be rambly and some not so rambly. Either way, make no mistake, I adore writing with you all <3
- Don’t think for a minute this lets you off the hook for Winter Lab…
