Thank you for allowing me to sit with you in your office yesterday afternoon; it meant a lot to me that you would take time out of your busy schedule to be there for me when I was in distress. I don’t know if you know this, but aside from Francesca, I don’t really have anyone in my life that I trust quite like I trust you. You make me feel safe and protected, like no harm can come to me so long as you’re around and I appreciate that so much; I really needed that after the harrowing experience I went through on Halloween. The calming draught is already working wonders for me, along with the milder form of the sleeping draught the nurse gave me to aid me in my sleep; I hope that by the end of the week, I shall be rested enough to fully resume my studies to the fullest of my ability, and even take the time to set up my usual tutoring sessions for younger students again!

I know that I can be a lot, and that I must annoy you a great deal with how often I bother you, and you’re so busy all the time and probably need that time to focus on your work, but I truly appreciate what you’ve done for me in all my seven years at Hogwarts. I will miss you terribly once I graduate and you’ve been the best mentor a girl could ever ask for. Anyway, thank you, again, for being so kind, and I shall see you in class.
