How have you been? I've heard you are doing well despite of what happened last month. Dearest sister please keep yourself out of trouble. I’ve heard from the grape vine that you were drunk with Arthur Pettigrew yesterday. What is it with you and men with iffy reputation? Just because father might go to prison doesn’t mean you can do whatever you want. Just do us a favor, please think before you act. For your sake and everyone else in the family.

— Araminta —

I'm sick and tired of caring for a family that obviously cares so little for me.

Figure it out yourself.

Fine, be a common whore for all I care. If you weren’ t so disobedient then mother and father would actually care more about you in the first place. Stop blaming them for all your misfortune.

Do whatever you want then. I just don’t want you to waste your whole life and become a drunkard. You are capable of being better than that.

— Araminta —

And what wouldn't be a waste of my life? Idly sitting at home as a gentleman's wife?

I wanted to be a healer, but your father ended that when he became a criminal (which, in my opinion, is worse than a drunk).

If you hadn't been frolicking drunk at the Celtic Fair with Rueben Crouch maybe you wouldn't have pushed his temper. He's never laid his hands on Julius and I for a reason.

And additionally, you wouldn't have a chance to become a healer in the first place if your real father hadn't picked you up from the slums. Do you honestly think that the Drapers had enough money to spare for your education? Enough to finish seven years? He even allowed you to live separately from us.

Stop acting like everything is his fault. The only wrong he did was hurting you. Everything else was you digging your own grave.

— Miss Scrimgeour —

He never laid a hand on you nor Julius because he considered you his children. To him, I was the poor, dirty "mudblood" child he graciously offered a home to. I was blood, but I wasn't family. Don't pretend like his behavior began recently; he's always disliked me.

Becoming a healer was so important to me not because of the position itself, but because it was the one thing I wanted to have a choice in, Araminta! If I were with the Drapers, I would have had difference choices taken from me, but at the end of the day I could have returned home to a family that loved me! They're dead now, which I suppose you think is a good serving of justice for the girl who ruined your reputation.

You may be my twin, but you're no sister.

How am I supposed to know that when I barely know you because you never gave me the chance.. You never opened up to me and I’ve done everything to understand you. Do you know how hard it feels to be the only one making an effort between us since the beginning? To feel that you don’t care about me?

Do whatever you want. Goodbye.
