SO.

Irene here is one of the people who was on a passenger boat when the dragons escaped and attacked the River Thames. And because I cannot live without the drams, she has fallen into a coma of an indeterminate length >D

Now I could write some more read only threads which is always fun, but I thought we could maybe take it up a notch...

From the research I've done of people describing what it's been like to be in a coma, it seems to vary from person to person which makes sense. Some wake up from their coma not knowing what happened prior to their incident - some don't remember days before. Some have extremely bizarre dreams because they interpret the things they hear around them in different ways.

THAT'S WHERE Y'ALL COME IN.

Care to enter Irene's dreamscape with me? The idea I had was that all the things she was dreaming would be of things happening around her; seeing as she'd be in St. Mungo's long-term ward, I could imagine her dreaming about people she might not have even known before, which could make it super fun when she wakes up >D

So, have you had an idea of any type of thread that you've wanted to get your character into without suffering immediate IC world consequences? Now might be your chance to do it! You could even take it a bit further. How, you ask? MAGICAL REALISM, I SAY. Maybe Irene could come to your character in a dream? Perhaps she has some corporeal effect on the real world. She's already accidentally painted her emotions into a piece she gave Elias Grimstone's family, so why not keep up with the theme?

You have Remy of course and you could have Richard Gladstone who would have come to check on her (and other long term ward patients) regularly. You can have any of mine really if they would make sense because this would be so fun. xD

If you're in it for the long haul. Lottie's gonna be there for winter/summer volunteer work. Reading to her, maybe even reading WW and DP articles, some mild gossip with the other volunteers.

I was talking with Laurel Potts who might organize a Hogsmeade relief effort to come as soon as travel is permitted again, and Charley could come along with that.

She could be at St. Mungos to deliver supplies and be a spontaneous gofer, Irene's dreamscape could incorporate her that way.

I do love this idea, but I wasn't thinking that long term for Irene! At most, maybe a month or two :D

Sounds right up her alley!

How do you see the dreamscape going? Is it something Charley would see or react to in real time when she's awake, or would you rather visit her in her dreams? (She can easily dream about what she was doing that day, too.)

I can probably start something once I know how to approach it.

Oohhh yess yess, so I know we had sort of semi-off board plans of Gus teaching her self defense or something. Perhaps Irene hallucinates going on an adventure with him where she has to learn on the fly?
