Call For Proposals - Fortitude Greengrass - September 16, 2023

VERY tentatively putting out feelers for connections for a new character.

- I have a job in mind already so nothing occupation specific
- character is at least 25yo, probably no older than 50
- very likely female but might be flexible on gender for a very appealing offer
- any class/any blood, does not need to have completed schooling but does need to have attended
- relationship status is open, could be widowed married or spinster
- if married, the dynamic is open but they definitely occasionally sleep with other people. Or a specific other person. This is secret.
- could have children but if so, probably not an involved/invested parent

I'm open to offers of:
- family or married family
- "this person desperately needs a friend/bff, please be that friend"
- plot hooks (past connections or present/ future roles to fill)
- etc

Phylis is married and her only occupation is ~some academic field

Hersilia is also super open, I have magizoologist or Quidditch coach but TBH I'm not married to any of those :P

Then Alexandra here has 3 sisters you could use as a blank slate.

And you know I want Lynn connections so I hope something works out <3

I have Francesca Garlick's older sister? She's married and probably has children but it doesn't matter if she's faithful or is super into her kids. All that's established is she was in mourning during the Hogwarts COB (but that can be changed, just that she had to postpone her life because of mourning), her husband helps her father financially, and that she hates Chessie.

The Bulstrode Brothers (b. 1863 & b. 1868). Oldest just lost his new wife, so keep that in mind xD

I would honestly love for Liliana and Chester Parkinson to be in an open marriage type of understanding because she was inspired by Aphrodite.

Could be the oldest née Crabbe sister, mid/late 1850s. Open to being widowed by now, I don't mind.

Could be a sibling of Vera, they are fairly open!

I've started googling "actresses in their 30s who look like they could stab someone" so this is slightly less tentative now xD

The job is Paperwork & Drudgery Instructor in the Auror Training Program. I'm intrigued by Edric's mom's secret family but still considering all offers, especially ones that come with more connections or plots!

Hmmmm, I have a loose past connection buried in Evander Darrow's history in 1882 where he wanted to court a woman but did nothing about it, if she's a) a woman b) middle class c) vaguely his vibe and that fits with anything you have for her lol??? I said she went on to get engaged to someone else but it doesn't matter to me if she ended up married or not.

Idk what she's like in personality but if she looks like she could stab someone I could always use fun female friends for people like Porphyria Dempsey or Augusta Robins etc xD

I am probably open to other connections if something else catches your eye! <3

ALRIGHT I AM BACK WITH MORE SPECIFICS.

I've got her mom cast via Bree <3

Specifics on my character:
- for sure female, first name Francesca
- born 1857.
- owl animagus
- Paperwork & Drudgery Instructor in the Auror Training Programme
- probably raised MC
- has worked in the DMLE forever so never did the full debutante thing
- when she wants to stab people it's because they're pulling her away from her paperwork to do adventure tasking so she actually might have had some appeal to Evander LOL

THINGS I AM STILL SEEKING:
- a father (any blood MC) - could definitely be an NPC brother/cousin/whatever of played people. Or I can make him up.
- a husband married in 1882, who JUST DIED during dragons (ideally MC but UC would work too - I need him to have left her with money troubles so that's a thing)
- siblings if it fits the vibe - no siblings born any earlier than 1853, plus I want some leeway with mom's personality (she may be fine sometimes but at points she is definitely the VE version of a WineMom)

SOFIA: Alexandra's siblings don't fit due to ages (seems like the birth order is pretty set from your profile?) but Huxleys might if you wouldn't mind an older sister? LMK!

CHERRY: It was fun reading Francesca's profile but I definitely want her mom alive during her adult years so unfortunately won't be a fit <3

KELLY: she def needs to have worked for a while so the Unbreakable Vow wouldn't suit :P

BREE: we discussed

MJ: I'm aggressively into this, let's wait until her personality has settled a bit more and I've written up her profile and then we can discuss if she seems like a good fit for the past Evander crush? And I would also really like to see if she can be friends with Phyri or Gus because I love them both - Phyri seems more likely because I think she's gotten melodramatic in her middle age in a way that might be appealing to Phyri xD
