History of Magic Professor Dru is - as of this September - the new History of Magic professor, hired to replace Hamish Darrow (because that isn't an overwhelming prospect). She is a bit eccentric and almost always has her head in the clouds and a book in hand. She is quick to like a person and very passionate about pretty much everything.
❧ Friends— She attended Hogwarts from 1864 to 1871 as a Hufflepuff and spent most of ehr later summers living with friends after drifting away from her muggle family. She also did the society thing for a few years after graduate but married her Hogwarts Sweetheart eventually (though he died in the Laughing Plauge in '84). Since then she's mostly been around Hogsmeade, in the museum, or potentially friendly with other mothers.
❧ Other Facuilty/Staff Members— How do they get along? Is she far to unconventional for you? By default, she is probably overly friendly to everyone. Be warned, you are subject to small mischifts if you see her.
❧ Students— While she has worked in a museum for the past 20 years, she's has never had much experience teaching in a formal academic setting and isn't much for traditional lectures and honestly, it shows. Students were greeted to her classroom with the desks removed and lounge cushins brought in and instead of traditional lectures she uses magic to create illusions to create the subject. She has also established an open door policy to her office (which if one visits, will fine equally decorated in cushins, cozey blankets, and a constant supply of warm tea, biscuits, and candies). Tangentally, she does also have three children who are Hogwarts age so she might try to act like adopted mom to her childrens' friends much to their embarrassment.
❧ Other?— Hurling? Cool. Not sure how receptive she'll be but her husband died nearly ten years ago and I love choas so yes please. Anything else? Probably cool. Being my one non-adoptable she is fair game folks.

Gus Lissington - September 6, 2023
We kind of chatted, but I offer Gus as a potential friend/colleague. They're pretty similar personality wise and he'd totally visit her office for the biscuits and candy. (His sweet tooth is unrivaled xD)
I also have
Chuntao Chang who'd be one of her students, and I think he'd like her.

Henry Berkwood - September 6, 2023
Fiona Little is a fellow staff member who generally makes it a point to be on a good terms with her coworkers if for no other reason than to avoid stress. XD
James Callum loves her class. He doesn't know it yet, but he has a career in the museum and as a historian in his future.
The rest of my students also take her class, but they're at best neutral about it.
RE: Introducing Dru! -
Meserimus Valenduris - September 7, 2023
Meserimus tries to pimp his kids at just about everyone - but I'd imagine he is pretty paternalistic towards her.
Yuri has probably struggled in her class - he's tried hard, but he's just not great.
Emma on the other hand is diligent and careful, and works hard. If you need a favour she's your girl.
Honoria is fairly indifferent to the class, but she is quiet and does exactly what is expected. She and a little clique of other girls will be notable for their blue feathered quills.
RE: Introducing Dru! -
Autumn Fairfax - September 7, 2023
None of my older students were good enough to continue her class into the NEWT level, but
Autumn Fairfax will be in her first & second year class. She probably absolutely adores the classroom layout and I can see it sort of help Autumn focus instead of the traditional seats and desks.
RE: Introducing Dru! -
Francesca McKinnon - September 18, 2023
Francesca is close-ish to her age, though Fran is giving her some serious side-eye about how she runs classes.
Still down to thread her with Edward as discussed also!
