INTRODUCING | SERA - Seraphina Bythesea - September 1, 2023


Hello! Sera is a Gryffindor alum of 1878, who was bold, confident, charismatic and a smidge too flirtatious until August of 1878, when she was put under an imperius curse. Then, she became boring as paste. But she's awake again — and well. Things will be changing.

Plot Hooks
What I'm most interested in right now is former friends - MC/UC women around her age, with similarly engaging personalities, who would have been Sera's friends at Hogwarts. Seraphina was very extroverted, and loved to be in a circle of people. Sera dropped her friends while under the imperius curse, but her husband thinks she has a laudanum problem — maybe that's how you thought about it, too?
Also, men. At the time of her curse, Sera was trying to find her perfect husband. Candidates she would have taken seriously were:
" Perfect for her, not for her father — she doesn't care how he is at business or at the Ministry, as long as he loves her (and is good looking, and preferably has some money. She can still be a little catty.)"
Now, they'd be - UCAB and 36+, MCAB and very charming and 36+, etc. Sera would like to talk to them again. Where does that go? Probably somewhere her husband doesn't like.
She also kissed some bois at Hogwarts, these are very flexible. She would also like to talk to them again.

Basically, I want to build out and explore reconnecting the very full life that Sera had before the curse - and thread through her struggling as things aren't the same now. I am happy to plug her in to any roles you want in your life related to this!

Alix probably gave her detention at some point at Hogwarts if she caught her sneaking around or something! They were 2 years apart and I can't see them being besties or anything. And then during the Imperius years she was a mix of "yay I can boss her around!" and "Oh it's so boring that you don't antagonize my Rowle event finger food menu boo" and probably thinks she was taking drugs as well.

Also Sera and Mira will be fun obviously! Mira feels kinda awkward around her because the two never got to develop a relationship off the curse. I feel like in many ways Mira will act more like Sera's younger sister, she'd probably ask her for fashion advice and in general kinda be like a sheltered teen sister.

I don't have much for her unfortunately Only similarly aged girl is Jules who is 31 but also was kicked out of school and didn't engage much with the deb thing so probably not much to go on.

Oz is 36 & UC & was flirty back then but idk if you want any more of him in your life >.>

Hallooo I have Veronica Gallivan for ex-friend needs! Depending on how good of friends they were, I could see Vera potentially being wary of her if she stayed distant during Thaniel's "death".
