Dear Mum and Pa,

I'm writing again because it's been months and I haven't heard. I keep checking with the magic post office and they say there's no way their owls are getting lost, either. If this letter doesn't reach you, I'm going to have a talk with the owls themselves. They're magic, they can find you, they just don't want to or something.

Well, I turned another year yesterday. And kept thinking I would wake up to everyone standing around me, not even waiting until I rubbed my eyes to start singing and dancing with me. Some people have cake for their birthdays, we had each other.

Sometimes, that's all that keeps me going. Where are you? Do you think of me like that, too? I'm sure you are busy with some new play, but I mean when it's after dark and you're just about to blow out the candle. How about then?

I miss you. When I get enough coin to get out of this town, I'll send a real letter by Post.

You didn't go to London last week, did you? Please tell me you didn't. It's fine if you're in London now.

Only, if you are, will you please respond to my letter? I sent one at the normal post office, too, but I don't think they know where to send it.

They didn't have any of your playbills neither, don't you print those anymore? You should print a hundred and send them all over Britain and then I would see one and know where to find you.
