Appearance: The first thing one notices when they look at Lucy is her grace and confidence. Lucy rather likes her appearance which lends an element of confidence to her baring. She is a handsome woman with dark brown hair always carefully styled, delicate facial features, and blue eyes. She has carefully maintained her creamy complexion over the years and sometimes adds a little of makeup to enhance her look. Her greatest flaw is her height at five feet and six inches, she often feels she towers over many women she knows, but it has definitely been known to turn the heads of gentlemen of her acquaintance. She does have a slender build but does not give the impression of being delicate. Lucy is also very careful with her clothes, liking to keep with the latest fashions, she prefers muggle gowns and styles as they are more flattering to the female form. She uses her wand with her right hand.

History: Lucy is, unfortunately, born five minutes after her twin, Anthony. Not that this would have changed anything, but she rather feels she ought to have been the eldest. She is a charming baby and toddler, full of smiles and good natured behavior. Her first demonstration of magic is at a year old when she magics herself into Anthony's crib in the middle of the night.
Her childhood is a happy one and quickly passes in the company of her brother, nannies, and governesses. She becomes a big sister in 1866 when Archie is born. She adores being a big sister. All too soon Lucy and Anthony get their letters to Hogwarts in 1872. Much to Lucy's surprise she is sorted into Gryffindor rather than staying with Anthony in Ravenclaw. While Anthony bonds with their cousin Atticus (Lucy tries not to be jealous that they are in the same house together), she makes fast friends with Catherine "Cat" Adlard. She is very sociable and quickly makes friends.
In Lucy's third year she is excited to pick her OWL classes (Divination & Earth Magic), the only thing more exciting is the birth of her first younger sibling. She's over the moon excited to have a sister to "mother" when she is home. During breaks she spends much of her time scolding Anthony for making their younger siblings cry from his pranks. Her sixth year she lightens her course load to Charms, Divination, History of Magic, Earth Magic, and Potions.
In in 1879 Lucy graduates from Hogwarts. Her parents host a coming out ball and her first season is wildly successful. She attracts the attention of two serious marriage candidates: a Sir Stephen Witherby, a gentleman on the wrong side of forty and the charming young Charles Hutton. By August Lucy is engaged to Charles, it is not a love match but it is a pragmatic match and promises to make Lucy happy as well as providing Lucy a home of her own.
November 1879 sees Lucy married to Charles. She loves being in charge of her own house and while she isn't terribly in love with her husband they do get on well enough. It takes Lucy two years to get pregnant but when little Charlie is born in 1882 her whole world centers on him. She adores being a mother. In 1884 little Tony is born. Lucy is content with her life as a mother, wife, and member of society. The only blemish on her life is a miscarriage. But in 1888 she introduces little Artie to the world.
In January of 1890 Lucy's life is overturned, quite literally, when Charles in involved in a boating accident. Suddenly a widow Lucy finds herself leaning heavily on her family for support. She focuses on her siblings and children. As 1892 continues and Lucy watches Tillie debut and presses Anthony to marry, she begins to consider her own life and possibly another marriage.
