I hope you are well. I know it has been some time since I last wrote but I had some news I wished to share with you.

Mr. Faustus Prewett, a most upstanding and respectable man, has asked me to marry him. If you were to know him I am sure you would approve of the match. We have not yet set a date, but I will share it with you when such details have been settled.
