This seemed like a terribly mismatched duel, but if the diminutive urchin before him had gotten this far, she (?) must have some real talent. Well, they would soon see. After a speedy recap of the rules, Tybalt grinned and gestured to the Hufflepuff to begin.

Sizing up her opponent, Billie inwardly cringed. Urquart was a much, much older student and captain of the Slytherin quidditch team. Her tricks and mischief might not work on him like they had with the others.
Shaking the negative thoughts out of her head, she rose up to her full height and outwardly tried to appear as brave as possible. She wasn't one to back down from a fight, of course. She did have some pride.
"Oscausi," she called out, pointing her wand straight at him, hoping to seal his mouth shut before he could get out a spell.

Elijah knew of Farrow due to quidditch, but that hardly made them friendly—a gnat with a name, after all, was still a gnat. He cast a disarming spell almost lazily, so sure was he of his victory.

One casual spell later, and Miss Farrow's wand had gone flying right out over the audience's heads. It took a few moments to successfully locate and retrieve it for her, and when Miss Farrow was once again in possession of it, Tyb declared, "Mr. Urquart takes the round and may cast again."

Elijah made a show of smugly checking his pocketwatch as they waited for Farrow's wand to be retrieved. Once given the direction, he cast a spell to transfigure the seeker into a mouse.

Nothing annoyed Billie more than smug, rich shits.
With her teeth grit and a scowl on her face, she regained the confidence she'd displayed in the previous duels. With an unusual amount of concentration, she attempted to cast the knee reversal hex, hoping it would swipe the stupid look off of Urquart's face.
She was a vindictive Hufflepuff.

If any expression crossed his face, Tybalt's excuse would have to be that he liked to champion the underdog... but really, the smug look on the upperclassman's face had rubbed him the wrong way, too.
Unfortunately for everyone, Miss Farrow had become a mouse. Undoing the spell as swiftly as he could – the Slytherin boy did not need more time to crow about it – Tyb announced (with much less enthusiasm than usual) the winner of the duel.
