Ever since we met I've got just one regret to live through and that one regret is you
When Charles heard the two incantations he couldn't stop himself from openly grimacing. In the first split second of the reaction he hadn't sorted out in his head which voice had said what but the idea of either spell hitting the young lady was enough to make him uncomfortable. It also forced him to remember that duel where
she had used that hex... He should have recognized that red flag for what it was...
Thankfully he didn't have to actually see anyone vomit slugs this time and by the time Mr. Dursley was starting to resemble a beaver he had neutralized his facial features. He was about to put a stop to the spell before it started to get nauseating to look at the boy but he wasn't quite fast enough to stop the boy from impaling his hand slightly on his own front teeth. Charles wasn't sure if he was acting on a reflex and trying to clap a hand over his mouth or if he thought he could grab his teeth and stop them from growing through force but either way the result was he essentially bit himself
badly, boring a decently sized hole in his hand from what Charles could see.
He put a stop to the hex but he wasn't going to be the one to sort the boy's teeth out.
Miss Adebayo is the winner. Mr. Dursley, I advise you to go see the nurse before anyone else gets impaled. The duel had ended in such sudden chaos that Charles had forgotten to be bitter about the winner being female, he was just glad it was over.
