Ewart Fraser vs. Rupert Bingham -
Enoch Rosier - June 29, 2022
24th July, 1892 — LSPCM HQ
Finally, there was one competitor this year that was the right sort. True enough that Bingham reminded him slightly of Macmillans creepy little brother and the younger man looked as though he hadn't seen sun in years but at least he knew how to behave. Which was more than Enoch could say about the other man whom he had once genuinely mistaken for a victim of confundus the Improper Use squad had let wonder off.
"You may cast first Fraser."

Ewart beamed jovially around the room, offered his competitor – little more than a lad, but who knew his talents – an earnest bow, and then, when it was time to begin, cast a charm that ought to make young Mr. Bingham start twirling where he stood, rotating like a ballerina in a music box. A little dizziness would hardly help his casting aim, if it worked.

Rupert cast a spell that would hopefully knock the older man onto his butt. If that worked, hopefully the other mans spell would miss him completely.

For a moment Enoch wasn't sure quite what was happening but quite suddenly Bingham began to twirl, slowly at first which was likely why the spell the younger wizard had cast only narrowly missed Fraser, but it quickly became far more effective and it took Enoch two embarrassing attempts to counter the charm. The old man was wilier than he looked it seemed.
"First round to Mr Fraser. Bingham, when you can see straight the next round is yours to begin."

Rupert was not pleased to be getting shown up by an old man. He cast the
Conjunctivitis Curse, hoping his spell would make contact and cause the mans eyes to swell shut.

Well, would you look at that!
Aware that he wouldn't be looking at anything for much longer if Mr. Bingham's curse indeed hit him, Ewart cleared his throat and cast an inflation charm in return, hoping to see the young man swell like a balloon and begin drifting away up to the ceiling, well out of range.

Enoch Rosier - July 4, 2022
No sooner had Bingham twirled his wand that the old dog, seemingly without a care in the world, cast a devastatingly accurate charm that made his opponent swell and float. Enoch gazed at the vision with harrowed eyes: Bingham's face, swollen horribly and immobile, and still attached to what appeared to be a ever-growing giant, fleshy balloon, was amongst the most horrifying things he had ever seen and it was no consolation that he was advancing into the rafters.
"Fraser wins... now for god's sake will somebody catch Bingham!"
