Thistle is the third oldest of the 8 Potts sisters.  She's the scientist of the bunch, spending her days tending the florist shop or in her workshop experimenting and crossbreeding plants. She’s now officially a spinster and is 85% ok with the significant possibility that she'll never marry. The other 15% is conflicted. 

❧ Friends | All genders welcome but she gravitates more towards perceived-female friends.  She's friendly but chill.  She isn't afraid to initiate but won't seek friendship where it wouldn't be reciprocated.  I feel like she'd know (of) most shopkeepers/merchants on High Street and she jokes about being rivals with apothecaries because obviously fresh ingredients are better.
❧ Ghosts of hurls past | She’s had a few would-be suitors over the years but they all came to nothing for one reason or another, if anyone wants to establish backstory I’m open to it.
❧ Ghosts of hurls future | Maybe. She's not fussed about getting married but I'd love for her to find something organic and fun.
❧ Plants | You need plants?  She's got plants.

Meri is a Seer whose primary personality trait has become wand-nerd.  Her reputation for being a Seer might be more pervasive but her passion is in wandlore and has been since 1885 when she was offered an apprenticeship by Gervaise Ollivander.  Her father died in 1884 and she lives with her muggle mom in Irvingly. 

❧ Friends | Classmates?  Fellow working ladies of her age?  Other people who love magical woods enough to have a favorite tree or four.
❧ Fail Hurls | (emphasis on fail) Meri is getting on in years and her quasi-absentee older brother might be getting ideas that he needs to play head-of-household and get her married.  Or something. Her brother is useless with a dash of shady so I'm open to all manner of suggestions.
❧ Seer Stuff | She is capable of spontaneous visions, big and small, and being asked for a reading or a prophecy makes her visibly uncomfortable.  She also has a long harbored, stubborn distaste for divination and hasn't made any effort to keep it quiet.  Hit me up for all your foresight needs!

Pure of heart and dumb of ass, Jack is cinnamon roll just trying to make his way in the world.  He lives in Pennyworth with a couple roommates and has a habit of being adopted by/collecting found families for some reason.

❧ Friends | Bros.  Roommates.  Friends in general.  I feel like he’s the kind of guy that could make friends anywhere but most likely working class.
❧ Flirts | Too young to hurl but I think he’s a flirt and a closet romantic.  I wouldn't put it past him to fall hard for someone.
❧ Crime & Hogsmeade |  He patrols Hogsmeade A LOT.  He’s probably a familiar face to criminals and residents alike. 

Alexander Waterford

Inconvenient Orphan

Alexander was orphaned in 1891 when his parents were lost at sea, there's a good chance your character knows it, and he absolutely does not want to talk about it.  He’s recently moved back to London after spending over a year at St Mungo’s Home for Inconvenient Children which was exactly as fun as it sounds.  He’s now his teenage brother, George Waterford’s problem.

❧ Friends | I’m sure he had friends before the great orphaning but likely fell out of contact since.  And he may have made friends in hogsmeade while there.  He hates being patronized or being told what to do so he'd probably try and avoid most adults unless he thought they were Cool™.  I'm down for him to end up befriending literally anyone he might run into on his adventures cus I think he's quietly very lonely.
❧ Shenanigans:  He spent most of his time at the orphanage trying to escape the watchful eyes of his caretakers and absolutely running around Hogsmeade whenever he could manage.  I’m sure he got up to some mischief, if only by virtue of being rebellious and occasionally unsupervised.  I’m sure he will try to do the same in London.  He's a good kid so nothing too bad.
