Clue was angry — angry that Narcissus couldn't see... couldn't feel... the way Clue felt right now. The anger only faded when his friend cut the thread of their intense moment. "I have to finish my book anyway", replied the strange Slytherin curtly, readjusting his satchel and continuing along the lakeside on his own.
Why couldn't Narcissus understand... that he is mine.
Narcissus had no idea what to make of Clue's ire. He rose an eyebrow in response to Clue's curt reply and watched as Clue continued on his own. Sighing and figuring Clue would calm down if left on his own since that seemed to be Clue's default mode without him, Narcissus turned and headed back to the Common Room. His mind was full of confusing thoughts anyway and he needed time on his own to sort through them.
