RE: No Place Like London - Questor Spryly - November 7, 2021

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me

To further his own embarrassment Spryly realized a fraction of a second too late that he was taking Lestrange's 'compliment' too much in earnest. He put it down to the fact he'd been wrong-footed from the start of their encounter that evening and he hadn't yet managed to fully recover himself.

Cash nodded once, accepting Spryly's answer on its face. "Good. I'll see you around," he said; he finished his drink in a large sip, set it down, and got up to leave. He was not entirely sure that he would see Spryly around, but one could hope.

He left a few coins on the table under his glass; enough for a hot meal or another drink, whatever Spryly wanted.
