Children! I'm talking like 7 to 9-year-olds, not your basic 10-year-olds that will go off to Hogwarts come September (though you should also make those since the sorting ceremony is one of my favorite things >.>)

I, obviously, second this.

HOGWARTS STAFF IDEASNurse: the cranky af probably-just-too-old-to-marry spinster who is positive you're not dying, so stop crying.
Etiquette Professor: Super strict, slightly neurotic. "You hand is 1/2 and inch too low on your dance partner's waist, don't you know anything!?"
Magical Theory: a fabulous old widow who tells you like it is, but also sneaks you sweets. I pimped to myself
ETA: on an entirely selfish note, I also require more AMRS peeps for Jess, k thanks!

May I add:
- The new DADA/Charms professor: Young, hotshot, thinks he knows it all—but really has no idea how to talk to teenagers. Thinks he's "down with the youth" but doesn't know anything about what the kids are interested in despite only being a decade or so older than some of them.
- Earth Magic professor: Would probably be better off as a modern-day elementary-aged teacher. Addresses the houses as the four elements (Gryffindor = fire, Hufflepuff = earth, Slytherin = water, Ravenclaw = air). Has more craft assignments than the actual art instructor. Worships mother nature as a deity.

Jumping on this bandwagon....
Ghoul Studies Professor: Creepy freaking goth guy who slinks around the castle at night and thinks he's half ghost. Probably "married" to one of the female Hogwarts ghosts. Maybe his life goal is to become one.

Technically not an adopt, nor am I actively looking, but I mention this NPC family enough that I though I'd throw it out there. (Also there needs to be more working class people!):
WC Hogsmeade family who lives in the slums. They have a son named Arnie who is an incoming first year. He has an older brother who is on a second string quidditch team. There are at least five kids. Mom is a seamstress or something in the slums.
WC families!

Someone please give me this! Especially for the WC students who weren't raised to deal with this sort of thing (like, say, Alina).

This character has had like four different versions in my head but I CANNOT justify it for myself. Plz someone save me from my misery:
An older, MC muggleborn wizard (45-65) who went to muggle university after Hogwarts and became a physician before studying magical methods of healing. He has worked as a private healer to the wealthy (with perhaps occasional quidditch contracts) ever since, and is now looking to open the Hogsmeade(?) School for the Healing Arts, a competitive five-year program to school its pupils in both magical and muggle methods of healing.

Quote:Pascal continues to search for the owner of the smudged name he loaned his ‘hard-earned’ money to, though currently the bigger issue he faces is completing his work due to contentions with a centaur herd in the Forbidden Forest after he mistook one of them for a mountain goat at a distance.
Can we please bring back the trend of actually playing centaurs so we can have interactions like this? Give me the comedy gold.

A put-upon assistant head of the DMGAS who gets all of the grunt work and none of the glory since Fitz is...well, Fitz. Bonus marks if he's MC and older than Fitz for maximum "ugh" ness!
