Ivy didn't laugh, but her eyes crinkled up at the corners with amusement. She raised her glass in his direction in a sort of salute. "Maybe next time you will," Ivy said; her tone was mischievous, but she was more earnest than she would have guessed.

He knew she didn't mean it as a cheers but he turned it into one with a clink of his against hers.  "Maybe I will." he agreed with a quirk of his brow as he brought the drink to his lips to seal the cheers ritual.
