Ford swallowed and tried to push all the tension he felt buzzing around him back to the pit of his stomach. "Yeah, hot," he agreed. It felt hot after watching that performance, anyway. He caught the bartender's eye and asked for his glass of water, which he promptly received. "Stuffy, too. Close," he continued, taking a quick sip. "It'll probably be even worse once everyone's gone in for the main performance."

Hot, stuffy, and close were all adjectives Dory might've used to explain the closet sized bedroom of a low rent brothel. He took a sip of his second glass, eager for a second to press that particular thought from his head. It had to be the female dancers that got his thoughts rolling, that or how long it'd been since he last had sex. Dory just had to get laid is all, then he wouldn't keep thinking about testing Greengrass' flexibility.

"Probably," he commented. "I'll likely step out early if that's the case." Escape to Winnie's or something.

"And miss the show?" he teased lightly. Not that Ford would judge him for passing up part of a sonata, but it was the entire point of being here tonight, at least in theory. Something must have induced Mr. Fisk to buy a ticket, the same as he'd done for the art gallery, and he clearly wasn't here chaperoning his eligible young sisters, like Ford was. When he'd encountered him last month Ford had assumed he'd been there for the love of art, but if he was inclined to excuse himself from the performance right at its height that must not have been the case tonight. What a puzzle Dorian Fisk was.

"You've a point there," Dory chuckled. Watching the remaining of the show might just make him explode, though perhaps it would be an easier mess to clean in the darkened theater. He was accomplished enough at magic to vanish the evidence without arousing suspicion. "Perhaps just the main show, then. Until the dancers leave." He allowed.

"Right, wouldn't want to miss that," he said. His cheeks flushed again and he wasn't sure whether or not he was teasing.

He had his water, and this conversation was... confusing. He should go. He took a drink and tried to cool the color out of his cheeks, but he didn't think it was working. "Well — see you around, then, Fisk," he said a bit awkwardly, replacing the empty glass on the counter.

"Definitely not," he confirmed. He might want to miss it, if only for the sake of his trousers. Merlin, he really needed relief tonight, perhaps Winnie would be home. Then he'd be right as rain and no longer thinking of Greengrass or the dancer in such lewd terns.

Dory raised his glass in farewell and drained the second shot's worth of scotch. "Enjoy, Greengrass."

Yeah, he was definitely going to pay a visit to Winnie.
