What: Sweetie Hosts the Professors
Who: Co-Hosted by Mrs. Patton and Miss Sweetie Whitledge, all professors - including the Head Master - have been invited to be hosted for wining and dining. Families are welcome to join in the event, though are requested to limit to 3-4 adults where possible yes, this rule is primarily due to the deputy head master's large af family. (It is hoped that lady professors bring with them a member or two of their family whom can actually vote, but it will go unspoken during the evening.)

Why: Schmoozing Hogwarts staff specifically before they head off for Hogwarts

What: Hogwarts Send Off
Who: Hosted by Mrs. Patton and Miss Sweetie Whitledge. For the families of Hogwarts age children and their siblings, along with extended family. Anyone that doesn't sit right to be among children will be asked to leave.
Cost: At no cost because charity, donations appreciated
Where: Padmore Park, Hogsmeade
Why: To get into the good graces with the magical families of Great Britian
When: August 31, 1893
What: An Open Forum
Who: Hosted by Jude Wright and friends as part of his campaigning. He'll be setting up camp in the Leaky Cauldron all afternoon until early evening, with a usual assortment of pamphlets & snacks, and an open invitation to anyone who might have political questions/suggestions/concerns/discussions to raise. Or you can heckle, if that's your vibe. Set up sort of speed-dating style where you can have a short one-on-one sit-down convo with Jude and then mingle and chill with other people. He might do a short speech towards the end of the day but mostly he's here to ~listen to the people.
Anyone is welcome and you can swing by if you're just passing through on your way to Diagon Alley, but it's primarily aimed at the working/middle classes.

What: A Gentlemen's Evening
Who: Gaius Malfoy has invited about 30 UC gentlemen (full human, any blood, 6+ rep, not radical) and MC gentlemen (pureblood, 8+ rep).
Cost: Only any stakes you place of your own accord.
Where: Malfoy House, Imperial Square, Wellingtonshire, Hogsmeade
Why: "Fun", aka to promote Aldous Crouch as a Ministerial candidate
When: The evening of August 28th
What: Quidditch Luncheon
Who: Anyone interested in quidditch or just fancy an afternoon out
Cost: cheap tickets - entry to watch the quidditch and a beer- aimed at WC/lower MC,
premium tickets to upper MC/UC, - entry to premium seating, refreshments
Where: One of the professional quidditch pitches - port keys will be available from Diagon Ally and Hogsmeade
Why: yeah politics!
