I hold my peace, sir? no; No, I will speak as liberal as the north; Let heaven and men and devils, let them all, All, all, cry shame against me, yet I’ll speak.
He has touched my ankle and seen me with my hair down (not intentionally, of course!), so I'm pretty sure I already know what it feels like to be married.Helga Scamander in Helga's Boy Book

Boggart: A cloaked figure, reminding her of her kidnappers

Pets: At the moment? None. Her pet cat - Mittens - had been left to her daughter upon her 'death', though they'll probably share the kitty now.
1846: Guinevere’s sister, Jade, is born as the oldest in the family.

1848: Guinevere is born as second oldest in the family. Her father is disappointed that she is not a boy, but loves her anyway. Her mother is very excited to have another girl.

1850: The twins, Hubert and Charles, are born, making Edgar very happy to finally have boys.

1855: Jade shows her first sign of magic, which makes Guinevere thrilled for her sister.

1857: Guinevere is sad to see her big sister go to Hogwarts, missing her, but also wishes to join her. Later that year, Guinevere is surprised by her sudden sign of magic, which is making the family cat disappear, who is found on the roof, looking very angry. She does not recall as to why her magic had sent the cat on the roof, but it was a mean old cat so she could think of a few reasons.

1859: Guinevere goes to Hogwarts, excited to finally join her sister. She is sorted into Hufflepuff, which disappoints her at first due to her wishes of being a Gryffindor, but she soon became a proud Hufflepuff.

1860: Charles shows his first signs of magic, but Hubert doesn’t. Edgar and Lacy aren’t worried, thinking he’s a late bloomer.

1861: Charles goes to Hogwarts. Hubert doesn’t, not getting a letter. Father is furious, thinking it was a mistake on the school’s part. After a lot of tries and fails to get Hubert to show magic - Guinevere suspects that these attempts were her father yelling at Hubert repeatedly - his parents finally declared that he is a squib. His father is angered by this, but his mother is much more understanding.

1863-1864: Guinevere does good on her OWLs, which is a relief since she had been very stressed the whole year.

1867: Met her husband, Ryder, when a friend from school introduced them. During their time courting, Ryder is bitten by a werewolf. Too in love to leave him, she remains by his side and keeps his secret. Such a bond even seemed to make their love grow stronger.

December 3, 1868: She and her husband got married.

1869: Guinevere had their first son, who Ryder names Ace. She was very excited and happy to greet her first child.

1871: Her second child is born and she names their first daughter Avril.

1872: They welcome another baby boy into the world, and Ryder names him Leroy.

1873: Their fourth child is welcomed into the world, yet another son, and Guinevere starts wishing for more girls. Ryder names the boy King.

1875: Finally another daughter is born, and she names her Jolie. Young Avril has her first vision that Guinevere knows of, one that shows a baby having a powerful sign of magic. At the time, Guinevere assumes it's the child's imagination.

1877: Their next child is born during the chaos of the magic banish times. The couple didn't want to risk moving with a newborn, so they stay in London. She names her Sybille.

1878: Sybille shows her first signs of magic, to everyone's surprise, and Ace and Avril’s jealousy. Lacy states that Sybille will be a powerful witch one day. This reminds Guinevere of Avril's vision. It is quite the shocking realization. Both the visions and the fact that Avril is likely a seer.

December, 1879: Avril shows signs of magic.

1880: Ace shows signs of magic at the beginning of the year, and gets a letter for Hogwarts. He is sorted into Ravenclaw.

Summer, 1882: Avril and Ace reveal that Avril has had a vision of Ryder being a werewolf, and that they had kept this secret for a year. Guinevere and Ryder decide to confirm that this is true. Making it clear that they can't tell anyone, the siblings try to debate with her and Ryder over telling the younger children. This is denied. The others are too young and might make a mistake.

1882: Avril goes to Hogwarts. Guinevere misses her first two children, taking her mind off of their absence by giving her other four tons of attention. Now Avril is in Ravenclaw with Ace, and Guinevere is truly disappointed that neither are in Hufflepuff. Leroy shows signs of magic.

1883: Leroy goes to Hogwarts. The first child to be sorted into Hufflepuff!

1884: King shows signs of magic near when the owls are sent, which had worried Ryder. Guinevere wasn't worried, not minding if her child became a squib because she was used to her brother being one.

1886: Jolie goes into Hogwarts. Guinevere isn't thrilled about only having one child in the house.

1887: It comes as a relief when Ace graduates. Though he sadly gets a job, which means less time with him than she would prefer. But she doesn't stop him.

July 9, 1887: Leroy and Charles die. Poor King and Jolie witness the events take place. Guinevere is quite overwhelmed at the loss.

July 22, 1887: The Daily Prophet features the deaths of her son and brother.

August, 1887: Guinevere decides to pull Avril out of school, despite her daughter's protests. Deciding that the Pendergast School for Young Roses would at least mean that there would be longer winter breaks and it would be slightly closer to home, it seems like the ideal place. But late into the month, she is informed that it would not be a good fit. The Lukeson woman is quite offended by that, but keeps her opinion to herself.

Homeschooling is her next option, still holding onto the wish of Avril being close to home. The plan is also to take her other children out of school after their OWLs. This certainly does not seem to sit well with Avril.

September, 1887: One of Avril's friends stays with them for a few days. This is hopefully enough to calm the Lukeson girl down.

December, 1887: Avril tries to convince her to allow Avril to go back to Hogwarts with the half-breeds - and others who couldn't prove full human status. This would imply that Avril was not legitimate, even though she is Ryder's daughter. Guinevere would never bluntly tell that to her daughter, instead only saying that it wouldn't make sense for just one child to not have proof while the others did.

March 22, 1888: Ryder dies, and the stress is too much. It causes Guinevere to go into premature labour.

March 23, 1888: Roselle is born. Guinevere is too out of it to really understand what is going on as she is kidnapped while the baby is left with the wetnurse - who is in on the kidnapping.

1888-1889: There isn't much to remember. Whenever she hears something that reveals too much of where she is or who her captors are, she is obliviated. Though they don't seem to think it's important to erase her memory of hearing about the ransom note. She begins to worry for her family. What if these people try to hurt them? Poor Ace, who is likely trying to stay calm for his siblings sakes. He's still just a boy even though he's 19.

February 1, 1889: She is featured in the Daily Prophet. She is only made aware of this when she is harmed as her son's punishment for contacting the authorities.

February 4, 1889: She is found! The aurors rescue her, arresting those that work with the mastermind behind her kidnapping. Though the person that actually organized the kidnapping was not on scene. Guinevere doesn't know what the person looks like or who they are due to memory charms. She's just glad to finally get to see her children again.

June 26, 1889: Due to Jade interfering in the lives of Guinevere's children, Avril has had to marry Warwick Nott. While Guinevere doesn't approve, she did not stop it for fear of ruining Avril's reputation in the process.

July 12, 1889: Ace gets turned into a werewolf. Avril kills the werewolf in self defense and the defense of another. Guinevere helps cover this all up. The story to those who know about Ace is that Avril fends the creature off with expert wandwork before getting them both to safety. Mostly true, so good enough.

September 16, 1889: Her eldest son and his new wife elope. Guinevere is a little bewildered, having not seen that coming.
  • After having supposedly died in March 23, 1888, it came to light on January 29, 1889 that she was in fact kidnapped.

  • She was found alive in February 4, 1889.
  • She may be viewed as a bit odd.

  • Parts of her family are purist, she is not one of them.

  • She will stand up to someone if they are bluntly being hateful towards others.

  • Her father and sister hate her halfblood nieces, nephew, and their squib father, due to purist views. Guinevere and her branch do not approve of these views.
  • Her late husband was a werewolf.

  • Her son, Ace, is now a werewolf.

  • Her daughter, Avril, had to kill the werewolf that bit Ace in defense of the both of them. Guinevere helped cover that up.

Plot Preferences: Personally, I love making plots. I like planning things out. However, I'm also willing to plan things out, to then ditch the plan completely if the muse takes me and those I thread with in another direction. My characters tend to do as they please, leaving me wondering what on earth I just typed. Trying to make them do something that they will not naturally do seems strange, and won't work the way that the plan was supposed to.

"Mature" content does not bother me in threads. Language and violence don't bother me (though if we are gonna do smut, there has got to be a good reason for it happening at all and I would prefer if we fade-to-black). However I'm not comfortable doing these things if it would not be something that my character would do, and/or if it is not for plot development.

For me, I like to try to type as much as my muse will allow. Typically I try to match with the other poster, if not posting more. I do not expect anyone to have to match my post word count if their muse does not call for it.
