Appearance: She is a quarter inch under five foot three, she has green eyes and hair that lies somewhere between brown and ginger. She likes to wear waistcoated dresses and hats, several of which her eldest brother has brought home from America for her. She uses her right hand for her wand. She was born a metamorphmagus and while knowing several people's forms quite well, her absolute favourite thing to do is attempt to mimic the features of a brown cat that she owned when she was small, of course she cant become actually feline but does a good impression of what a cat like human might be. When she is excited or giggling this sometimes slips out as an involuntary change of her nose and mouth into a sharper shape that bares her teeth more. When she is cross often the eyes of her mother appear on her, or even worse her father. She has more than once given herself a jump scare when she storms off angry and sees her dad looking back at her in the mirror.
1879: Born to John and Kathleen Grace on a small estate in Buckinghamshire, the family are considered upper class, but at the lower end of that categorisation. Kathleen Grace, having only ever seen the word in print, but enjoying the way she assumed it sounded, named her “Antelope” after her own mother Penelope Douglas
1883: Her first sign of magic was early when her metamorphmagic nature is discovered as she changes the features of her face to amuse the family cat, this begins an exceptionally close friendship between the cat and girl.
1884: First expression of spell magic happened while fighting with the cat she accidently caused all of it fur to fall out, causing many tears for the poor girl.
1890: Begins Hogwarts, she is very excited and causes amusement at the Hufflepuff table after sorting with the involuntary sides of her metamorphmagic. The same winter saw her much loved family cat die. She was convinced it was because she had moved out and spent a couple of months in mourning before she could get over it. She still misses him.
1892: Third year starts and Antelope throws herself into the COMC, Earth studies and Divination electives
1894-95: Fifth year, Antelope is excelling and looking at her future particularly towards specialising in esoteric arts and also beginning to dabble with wandless magic at the beginning of 1895 after being shown the route to her power without it.
Antelope likes to lighten up any room she is in. She is friendly and caring and does not make enemies easily. She is a little sarcastic, but what teenager is. She thrives off of what she provides other people and cannot survive without at least one very strong relationship, having almost a pathological need for connections. She is also a fairly typical upper class girl, polite, well spoken and well read. She does well in her studies and might have made a good ravenclaw if her educational priority wasn't edged out only slightly by her social needs. She enjoys making people laugh and uses her metamorphmagic skills to play the clown where needed. She does sometimes though get a little embarrassed at times when her mood overtakes her and spontaneous minor transformations occur such as when she giggles and her lower face becomes more pointy, still obviously human, but in a certain light could be mistaken for feline. She also has an excellent practiced meow noise, but she saves that for private, mostly.
Her best friend his her older brother to whom she has been very close to her whole like and who writes to her frequently. She isnt the biggest fan of the debutante women he talks to as noone could be good enough for him. Her closest school friend is her roommate Corinne Dursley who she has spent many a night lying in bed next to while they study. Or often while Corinne studies and Antelope makes social talk and small jokes to keep her entertained.
The only person she struggles to get along with is her little sister Beatrice who will be starting Hogwarts in 1895 much to the irritation of Antelope.
