1865 - 1877
1865: Cordie Bret “Cor” Middlemiss and her identical twin sister were born on 2 November 1865 to Barney and Gene Middlemiss (née Hicks). While her twin sister was born first, Cordie was raised at her family manor of Middlemiss Manor near St Albans in Hertfordshire, England.
1876: Upon turning eleven, Cordie, along with her identical twin sister, were shocked but surprised to catch on that they were both witches and were invited to attend Hogwarts the following year. Cordie eventually accepted and was able to read up on magic and its uses, engaging her imagination to the fullest.
hogwarts years
1877 - 1884
When Cordie was eleven-and-a-half, she and her twin sister attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After taking only three minutes to decide, the Sorting Hat had made the ultimate decision to place Cordie in Hufflepuff. At some time during the first few years of her education at Hogwarts, Cordie grew a keen interest in learning, enjoying in-classroom discussions, interactions, creativity, and the usage of all things imagination. Cordie was also eager to help others.
She would spend much of her academic career and social life by becoming a resource for other students in her year. While Cordie had enjoyed being in the classroom where she could collaborate with other students, ask questions if needed, and pose any sort of endless possibilities, she would often get in trouble for being a so-called “distraction” or being a chatterbox, though getting into mischief or getting into trouble was slightly slim for the most part.
after hogwarts
1884 - present day
Between 1889 and 1890: Cordie had traveled to Diagon Alley to run some errands, where she bumped into a new Hogwarts student by accident. Cordie had sparked up a conversation with the student she bumped into, asking them if they were doing well in their studies and enjoying their time at the castle. The student had made a neutral confirmation to this, sharing that things were alright but that things weren’t so bad either.
October 1890: Cordie began her profession as an Artist. She was able to produce paintings and drawings during what was called the Art Nouveau Era. During this time, Cordie had the opportunity to generate and develop any artistic ideas that she had in mind while splashing those ideas onto paper or canvas, hoping that one day, her work could communicate the ideas that she had thought about or even the feelings that she had in mind while using different materials to do so.
1892: Cordie had been offered a position at Hogwarts as the Art Instructor due to her work experience in painting and drawing as an Artist.
August 1893: Cordie had gotten engaged to a man who was in the same social class as her by the name of Salvatore Howlett after being in a courtship with him, having to have first met at an art gallery in 1886, and has planned on getting married within 6 months to a year.
