Charming

Hi folks! Doing some paring down and have some plot plugs for the people who are staying.

These folks are going to go on vacation once their threads are wrapped unless you want to make a great case for them staying. If you have a current thread with them and want to let me know your thoughts on letting it die/speedy closing/rapid-firing/whatever let me know, otherwise I'll just plan to let them run their course.

Henri and Topaz won the "sticking around even though they have few things going on" lottery, and both need more purposeful things going on =) this is where you come in!

has two main drivers here: she is supposed to get married and she doesn't do magic (at least, not intentionally).

Do you have an unattached male character you really enjoy playing but doesn't have much going on? Come workshop a plot with me. There are three criteria here: 1) he is not (known to be) married; 2) he's a person Henri could reasonably meet and interact with more than once (probably not a WC Haitian-based criminal); 3) you can commit to 2-3 threads, moving at whatever pace you please, between now and the beginning of next season. This plot doesn't necessarily end in marriage, but it might. We'll figure out what the most amusing option is and shoot for that. (I am not particularly interested in hurling her at people to fall in love with, so if you're looking for an organically-driven romance plot this probably isn't for you. I'm more interested in scheming, weird situations, and unintended consequences. I expect this plot to be fun and crazy, probably not sweet, though I'm not ruling out feelings on either side.)

Re: magic, Henri has uncontrolled magic outbursts fairly frequently because she's hella repressed and that's how she feels her feelings. She's in denial about this and needs someone to point it out to her. Noble Greengrass is maybe figuring it out, but there's room for other similar arcs if you have any reason to interact with Henri often enough to put a pattern together. Friends, society types, available men, accidental magic investigators, etc etc. Once she figures it out she'll probably need some help doing something about it. What does that mean? Casual armchair therapy sessions? Teaching her advanced spells as an outlet? Some weird mix of both? Come find out!

needs a reason to leave the house. I see two interesting possibilities here: a cause or a catastrophe.

A cause would be some situation, possibly political / human-rights based, that Topaz regularly sneaks out of the house to get involved in. She'd be pretty sneaky about this because she doesn't want to draw any extra attention to either herself or her family, but she has a big heart and gets frustrated when she sees people ignoring problems. Her favorite causes are werewolf treatment (obvs), non-human rights, workers rights, and education.

A catastrophe: Topaz leaves the house for some innocuous reason (and/or sneaks out to an event to try and see Gideon Browne whom she's crushing on) and something happens to detain her. Stuck in the wilderness somewhere with no wand? Injured so badly she can't leave? Kidnapped by very misguided and ill-informed criminals? In any case. She's forced to stay away from home long enough to form some new, dynamic relationships beyond her friend/family group. Potential for higher drama if the period of time she's gone covers or runs right up to a full moon, especially because Topaz is registered with the Ministry and missing her monthly check-in would likely launch a manhunt for her.

Alternatively, if anyone in her friend/family group wants to be victim to a catastrophe we could have a combination effort where Topaz RUNS TO THE RESCUE and possibly gets herself in way over her head :P

Networking Plugs

Everyone else is open for stuff also, though not particularly urgently:

• > newly works at the Ministry, would love to either thread or establish her dynamic with other Ministry employees (esp other secretaries/heads of department she might interact with regularly)
  
• > once he figures out his love life he'll want new threads about that (there will be some sort of announcement to friends/family in either case), generally would like more threads with his family!
  
• > is going to become a basket case this month so stay tuned <3
  

Juliana and Murdock had a vaguely pro-werewolf thread, now she is in the ministry they should thread again.

I have a few ideas to bounce off for ya!! Some more likely than others?

• For Henri, I could potentially offer Anthony. They have a class difference but they'd have some event overlap or if she ever came into the hospital for magic oops. He's sorta the mom friend and it could be an interesting dynamic. Friendship or potential ship.
  
• Of course any and all Tavie things for Henri.
  
• For Topaz, if she is getting to politics, after AC, I intend to bring back and in my head she's been trying to get into halfbreed/werewolf/creature rights. She'd try and connect with anyone else who might be interest in the same sphere.
  
• And if you ever want cousin interaction for Topaz, Demelza is around!

- Benart soonish? Probs after we get further into Emrys/Art though

This just in: Henri will be in mourning for the next six months. Does not change my desire for a unattached man but does complicate how things happen. >D

We can rapid fire Bellamy/Valentin to a close!
Before he's gone, I'd also love some other Alistair/Bellamy that will somehow force Alistair to confront his #gaythoughts even more. I'm blanking currently on how but yes. xD No big deal if not but Bellamy will probably be on his mind for months to come because of who Allie is as a person.
