Milestones
During trivia night we started talking about what life milestone's we've been through since joining Charming, and someone (Kayte? Fallin?) suggested we create a thread. So: what life milestones have you gone through since joining Charming? Anything counts as long as it's important to you!
I completed one university degree and started and finished two more!
I am ancient and have always been here
Two babies, news jobs, a few moves, real teaching position, divorce, new beau and family. It all worked out in the end

I got married one week before Elsie's application was accepted! Lol
I started here when I'd just turned fifteen so...
- Graduated high school
- Moved out on my own
- Started college
- Experienced homelessness (only for a time!)
- Met my biological extended family
- Got my certification as a preschool teacher
I haven't been here that long, but! I've moved back to where my family is, started a new job I really love, and welcomed a nephew.
Feels like so long ago
* Dropped out of High School for medical reasons
* Got my HS certificate for taking the HiSet (practically same thing as GED)
* Went to Portland and Seattle for the first time
* Got my first job (which sucked)
* Moved to Oregon for said job
* Started college
* After almost two years of having a permit, I got my drivers license
* Just started a new job
* Welcomed not one, but two nephews into the family
Let's see I started during Freshman year at university so...
- Achieved an A in one of the hardest classes on campus [Philosophy of Logic, yes I still have my notebook from that class, yes I will BRAG about it until the end of time]
- Studied abroad for a year
- Broke up with the horrible ex
- Got back into theatre my senior year
- Graduated university
- Auditioned for a musical for the first time in years and ended up getting callbacks!
- Got cast as understudy to the two main roles >D
- Met Chris
- Got together with him
- Chris and I moved in together & also moved states!
I started in my last year of University so:
- Graduated.
- Got my first full time job
- Tried to date and had my first kiss (he was only a summer fling though and he didn't consider us to be "dating" and it was slimy ewww)
- Went clubbing for the first time
- Met My Husband and got in my first boyfriend.
- Went on my first trip by myself - I stayed with Bee!
- Moved out of home.
- Got Engaged
- Got Pregnant
- Got Married
- Had a Baby
- Started my Masters
- Got.... pregnant again. Dropped out of my Masters.
- Had My Second Child.
- Bought a House.
And then I left because seriously how busy were those years????? After that though life managed to quiet down and all that seemed to happen in the mean time is that I got a cat and killed half of my yard...
I started and finished high school AND college and this is so horrifying to me that I cannot comprehend other milestones, I have been here for so long
HANGING WITH OTHER CHARMERS EDITION:
— Met up with Bee (feat. Tiffany & Nolan) in NH and basically walked her first child out of her
— Played hostess to Bee and Beanie for an NS adventure <3
— Did the traditional "I'm in the UK LET'S HANG" meetup with Olive, MJ, Jenny, and Rosa!
- Finished my Masters
- Became a lawyer
- Did a PhD
-Bought a House
- Became a lawyer in a different country
- Got Married
- Bought a period house
- Had a kiddo
- Renovations begin on my dream home!
I moved literally nine times >.>
Got married, bought a house, had a kid. Oh! And on a technicality (by two days) started a new job.
Oh man, let's see...
-- I moved to TN.
-- I started and graduated from high school.
-- Got accepted to college, but then had an unexpected financial expense, so I withdrew.
-- Which was actually a blessing in disguise because I was still pretty undecided about what I wanted to do career-wise, so I worked for a few years in a couple of different sections.
-- Finally got my driver's license in the years since.
-- I moved from TN to TX.
-- Started college in Jan. 2020 to get my Associate's in Accounting. Will be starting my "second" semester on 08/24.
