I 100% won't be getting it because I will continue to stream all my tv shows online the old fashioned way (pirating arrr me hearties), but even if I wanted to Disney+ doesn't get released in the UK until March, 2020. :P

We've already gotten it, mostly because of the Hayao Miyazaki movies being on there, and you can't stream those ANYWHERE unless you buy the DVD. So when I realized that, Chris and I gave in xD
Haven't watched anything yet, but we've bought it!

I'm firmly in the salty boat of protest because I want it all back on the other streaming services and contrary to what all these streaming services think I'm not made of money. I'd rather save the monthly subscription cost for a year and buy disney tickets instead. I'll service without them. I'm also salty about all the Hayao Miyazaki movies being there. This all was on Netflix thanks. Also I can just join steaming parties.
I'm resistant to trends of popularity I say this but I'll totally cave eventually a few years down the road.

I love and miss all the old Disney stuff, so being able to binge Boy Meets World, Kim Possible, etc. We did end up canceling our other streaming stuff though.

I'm still boycotting the bloated capitalist greed-fueled conglomerate that is the present day Disney company. I will not feed that vile monster as long as it shits on my childhood and tries to rip us all off with our own nostalgia.
Also apparently I can't access it yet anyway which I didn't know until I saw MJ's post.
They're so arrogant they think pulling all of their content from Netflix to make even more profit will work because they've got us all eating from their hands and we'll just be like hey, what's one more streaming service anyway? EXPENSIVE AND UNNECESSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *shakes angry fist at the sky*
Buy Disney War by James B. Stewart instead of Disney Plus. I'd link the Amazon page but I'm trying to cut down on how much I feed Bezos' world domination plan. But also I'm still bitter about the debacle with my weighted blanket.

I got myself started. I'm sorry that I'm so bitter but sometimes bitter things can be good. Like lemonade :D

We got it as soon as it became available. Sarah's watched the Tink movies so far. I plan on binging Boy Meets World because that's lowkey half my reason for wanting it. And I watched Twitches one and two. Now were watching zootopia

Wait, Boy Meets World and Kim Possible... my resistence is fading. But my wallet isnt getting bigger. Sad day

Honestly, I would love to get it for missing my childhood shows that can't be found anywhere else unless I buy it. But it feels like a complete waste of money. My family got Netflix to avoid the 'paying the billion channels so we can have access to our favorite shows'.
The reason for streaming was to avoid having a bunch of different channels that you would have to pay more and more for (and Netflix still don't have commercials, bless).
Now there is Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. Fine. OK. Different options of providers and some who have different contracts with different companies. Whatever. But what Disney+ is trying to do is drag us back into what cable and dish and whatnot have done for years. The thing my family has been avoiding because it is ridiculous and expensive.
Sure, I'll watch some free CW episodes a day after airing on their app. Or ABC, or whatever. But for each channel to start following Disney's lead and snatching their stuff off of services like Netflix to do their own thing and add to the money bank for us consumers to pay? No thanks!
I hope people realize that following Disney in this is a bad idea that can lead to the scenario that I just described, cause I really don't want all of my favorite shows being taken out of Netflix and Amazon and Hulu, only leaving behind originals that are only a small reason my fam pays for the service at all.
With all of that said, I really want my fav shows from my childhood and it kinda makes me want to beg my fam to put it into the budget somehow because I am weak.

A rant, for your viewing.

Kelly, that is precisely my thoughts and feelings on the matter. My family has done the same thing. Although Amazon Prime does the same thing, they have channels you can get full access too in addition to Amazon Prime (BritBox and NBC for example) for an additional fee of course. So I don't think it is Diseny + initiating it, they are just capitalizing on soemthing that has already started.

It is just so irking. I shouldn't need to get 15 different streaming services when the whole point of them is to have everything in one. Also disney does not need the money (unless they are gonna use it to pay low end workers better, yeah right)
