OK, so as I was scrolling through my networking, I started noticing that several of my characters were very close in school years. It got me thinking "How close are my characters?". Ever since I played Lisa and Acacia (mother and daughter) in threads together, I've noticed how hard it can be to really get into a thread when more than one of your own characters are in the thread. But how connected would the characters really be if they were played by other people? I also was wondering all of your guys' character connections would be to one another. Could it be family ties? Class mates? Mutual friends? Are they actually buddies?

and would likely have chatted with one another over bonding about being close to family, though the slight varying in personalities would likely have lead to them being only acquaintances rather than friends. and Earth could get into delightful conversations about plants, and Earth would likely be one of her patients at some point.

would likely have actively avoided if he heard of her purist views, though might have been friendly with . Though he wasn't the type to have many female friends, despite the fact of many sisters.

and Regina might have been friendly, though not really friends due to the fact that Margaret is very family oriented and cheerful and it just simply would not be easy for Regina to stick around her for too long she needs her salty friends like Avril and Bella.

Acacia and would likely not be anywhere near the same social circle, though Lucky would likely not judge her for being a halfbreed. and Acacia have a bit of a wary relationship of one another due to Acacia's negative views of Sweetie's brother and the fact that she's not too interested in hearing the drama between the Whitledge siblings. Though Sweetie is besties with Acacia's sister Chrysanta.

would likely not have any close connections to any of my characters besides Ace due to them being cousins. and might be buddies, though Camille's family views would likely not bring her to be actual friends with Hestia. Though they could certainly chat about quidditch together. might try to befriend Hestia, though might not befriend Camille due to the lack of similar personalities.

simply judges everyone he's not BFFs with or married to, it's all good.
Think we had something along these lines on the old board, where I had a few more offenders. I try not to have much overlap but I do tend to collect men in their early thirties, which means , and were all within a year of each other at school. They move in vastly different social circles now, though, so it's not much of a problem.

and were in the same year before the retcon that aged Tib up a few years, which is one of the weirder ones.
lmao this is my favorite thing

I never brought him to the new board, but Stephen Flint and Edric would have been a year apart in the same house. It's part of the reason I never brought Stephen over, actually!

& were year-mates. Bella was also a year above , and given his prefect status, she probably knew him at least in passing.

was a year above Helga, too, but they definitely ran in different social circles, not to mention that Dionisia dropped out after her OWL examinations.

(who is older than , which I always find amusing) was a year above , but they also were in different houses and different social circles. was a year below Edward, and probably knew him. is a few years younger than Finnian, but I'd bet you anything they'd have gotten along!

My students' connections are much more obvious—they even acknowledge each other's existence if they share a quidditch team or class.

Family-wise, though, and share a cousin through Arthur Pettigrew. I always forget that Frida and Art are first cousins and it never ceases to amuse me.

and are first cousins through their Longbottom mothers, too :P
Fitz is literally first cousins with but they have almost nothing in common, so it's mostly just a relationship built on inviting each other to parties.
likely knows all of my Hogsmeade folks at least in passing. She specifically loathes and snubs the shit out of him.

probably has the most connections because he owns a bookshop. I headcanon/mention all the time that he has found Billie books she enjoys reading in order to encourage her to catch up with kids her age. He's also likely helped , , and with their research on numerous occasions.

As far as Hogwarts folks, Thomas thinks Archer is a baby and doesn't bother with him. Thomas is also probably on polite terms with Ned, but they're not friends.
Mason and Quin were unintentionally roommates in school. Quin knows everyone on High Street, so he knows the Potts family.

Most of my WC ladies know each other somehow. Tala and Leeny run in the same social circles. Eva and Winnie share relatives.

Claude was once related to half of my other UCPBs and he and Beckett run in to same social circles (and are probably related...?)

Jack and Baxter work together and also know Sydney. Syd now works with Eva.

Jess and Eugene are the same age, both played quidditch in school and both work at the ministry, so they definitely know one another.

Oh yeah, Elsie and Feb we're both Gryffindors a year apart, though did not socialize at all.

I think that's it lol

Continuing this trend, Gideon and Thom were roommates at Hogwarts. Ben was two years below this group and Emrys was two years above them. All of my males are the same age >>
