Hiiiiiii. Long story short I have overcommitted myself and need to cut back. I am thinking four characters might be a manageable number so am soliciting inputs (particularly as some folks have picked up wanted ads for these characters, or have ongoing plots with them! so there are really no good answers here and yes I feel bad!)

I am also soliciting ways to wrap or kill as many threads as possible with the thought that I'll be able to jump in to fresh things better. This doesn't mean we for sure have to leave a thread dead if I killed it... particularly for plot or ship threads I'm always down to revive stuff! Just want to do a quick inventory and cut fat where I can / wrap things up if they're far enough along.

The long story - I've been getting involved in lots of local politics things which is very good but very time consuming and energy intensive. Kids have been in sports all spring which is also a lot of time, plus work is busy so I can't squeeze posts in during the day much anymore. Our au pair ends her contract in a week (!!) and we are not getting a replacement (!!) because both kids will be in elementary school next year (!!) but that does mean that for the summer I'll have fewer free afternoons/nights and will have to chauffeur the kids around to all their camps and activities which will also eat into our time. We also have travel plans sprinkled throughout the summer. All that being said, I think characters who go on hiatus now might return around September.

note: the poll options are all the characters who happen to be on my account switcher at the moment, these are not a highly curated list and you shouldn't read in to a character not being included if you actually love/need them xD

I would love Ezra back but understand completely if that's not a feasible choice <3

I'm happy to wrap/kill anything necessary, I think we were in a good spot with a couple of them where I could edit my last post for to be considered complete if that works better for you. Off the top of my head that could be Winnie/DJ and DeanJuan, which might be it in all honesty!

I voted for ford, dj and Oz. Everyone else I’m connected to, I might also deactivate and react when yours is back so it’s all around fine for me. <3

My tops are Ford, DonJuan and Calvin but I understand if others take precedence!

I couldn’t decide between Oz and Ned lol I love them both and would also love to see Ezra back so I can hurl Phie at him again.

As for threads I’d very much like to continue our Cal/Saffy, and our DJ/Sybella & DJ/Irene threads but also understand if you need to drop any of them. <333

I am however completely out of comish for the month of August.

Thanks everyone <3 Ford, DJ and Oz will be sticking around. Since Dru and Alfred got some votes and have a decent but not overwhelming number of threads I'm going to continue those normally for now and once they're wrapping up decide if they stick around and get new things or if they vacation in favor of Ezra.

So for characters leaving:

Calvin-
- prioritize the Saffron thread until it wraps? It's decently progressed so probably not much longer
- Paxton sibs can probably wrap in a post or two
- kill thread with Leonid since it's only a few posts in?

Emrys-
- lol Beanie sorry I already killed two threads >> I archived artrys where it was, your post seemed like a fine ending
- Emgel idk. Amy, SOS.

- everyone else was already inactive or all their threads were SO THAT'S EASY I GUESS

For the people staying:
- Oz has 2 threads but the Ozina one died- Beanie do you want it back or want to scrap and move on?

- DJ has 9 active threads which is too many but I do think many of them can be wrapped or faded out xD DeanJuan, Hanna, Winnie, Nova can wrap probs?
- I want new DeanJuan & new Hanna for sure
- maybe tie up the letters with Kaatjie and have a thread again soon?

- Ford has 5 threads which is fine but doesn't leave room for new ones.
- wrap ghosts (I killed it but can revive to button)
- jemford in that schrodinger area of "I want to wrap so we can have a new one" and also "I desperately want to see how this conversation plays out and don't want to rush it" so... maybe we do both?? I don't think the existing thread will go on TOO much longer?

I'll take care of Winnie and DeanJuan when I can go a day without having a headache xD

Sounds great!! I'd love to discuss in DMs things that might be happening in present time for them, just to fill in Saff's background if that's ok! <3

As for our threads with DJ/my peeps, feel free to nix/revive any you see fit <3
