I work 2nd, so besides break time during work and my days off (once a week), my replies to anything on discord or PMs are slower; sorry in advance but thank you for understanding! As turnabout is fair play, I also don’t expect quick replies to anything I send people <3 I will rarely do rapid-fire threads, and mostly only for events like school dueling and such.
I have anxiety, so I'm not the boldest or bravest when it comes to sharing ideas for characters, threads, or plots - but! I never turn away opportunities for character development and chances to write collaboratively with somebody (I also over apologize frequently, so... sorry for that in advance)
As much as I love writing, due to my schedule and the time I take to write everything (I’m somewhat slow, sorry!), I do tend to limit my characters to 2-4 threads a piece.

Plottage Preferences
✏ POSTING: I find I do my best writing when there’s some basis for a thread, even if it's just character development/lets toss two together with this small idea/etc. – of course, this is with the understanding that things may change, because sometimes characters do what they want! And while the length I write does fluctuate, I do tend towards longer, lengthier posting (even in my “rapid-fire” posts lol); however, post whatever length you feel is best in response <3 No need to match. And if I haven’t replied to a thread in about a week, feel free to bump me in PMs or my DMs!
✏ ROMANCE: I don’t tend to pre-plan romances for my characters (though I am, ironically, myself a hopeless romantic) and prefer to let things grow organically though that does not mean it needs to be a slow-burn affair outside of people’s plottables. That being said, if you want to test the waters between two characters, I'm always down to seeing what their chemistry is! Arranged marriages are different from pre-planned romances, in my opinion, and I'm always down to set up arranged marriages (read: drama) for my characters of the appropriate class/blood/age status.
✏ PRE-PLANNING: Pre-planned threads/plots are more than welcome! While I have some goals in mind and things I want for my characters, I’m always open to new ideas and interactions that may shape and mold them. If you have a thought, please reach out <3
✏ LIMITS: Fade to black for sex scenes – while some explicit things (i.e. talking, some touching) leading up to the act are fine, I’m not comfortable writing actual smut (as an ace-spec individual, I have not experience with writing such things -- and no smut is better than bad smut anyway, right?)
✏ DEAD THREADS: Sometimes, between work and my anxiety perfectionism, I can get behind on posting and threads can die; first of all, I apologize if that happens on my account. Secondly, please know I am always more than willing to revive any threads that fall by the wayside, so just reach out and let me know if that happens! I will try to do the same.
Al is best suited for casual and light-hearted threads; he’s my fun guy, I’m willing to throw this himbo into any type of thread/plot! I don’t necessarily have any specific future plans for him. He’s definitely here for a fun time, even it’s not a long one haha <3

Family! In the post above, his gaggle of sisters (totaling 8, including two sets of twins) and his BIL are linked with room for distantly related others; I’d love to see any of them get taken so he can be a big bumbling, but well-meaning buffoon (and feminist ally with his sisters). Sibling dynamics are always fun! (and, yes, at this point, he does treat his BIL like a sibling)
Friends! Al is a friendly guy, so I can see him having lots of friends and a good amount of close friends; these can range from former Hogwarts classmates/teammates to current teammates or even those he met once out of school. He grew up as an only son and I can see him having just as many women as friends as he does guys (the impropriety of it!) due to being used to feminine company. As an older brother, he’d very likely get along with younger people too… You get the gist by now – big fat extroverted himbo haha!
Hurling!(Self-identifies currently as straight, but is likely pan) One of my more romantically available characters, Al is always open to hurling threads (and, even if those threads don’t spark anything, I’m more than open to him keeping cordial relations with any former lady love interests). As the only son of an upper class pureblood house who is set to inherit a decently profitable shipping company (and has that quidditch player swag), on the outside Al appears like quite a catch – but he’s not! That alone could lead to some funny threads where he shocks and/or disappoints some interested female prospects xD And I’m not limiting him to just the female audience: fellows are welcome, discreetly, too! He’s never given serious time or effort to romantic interests, but, while he wouldn’t seek them out, I would love him to discover he likes all sorts.
...Rivals? If you want something more one-sided and possibly hilarious, then sure? He’s the type to not really notice/understand when someone thinks of him as their rival, and I think it might be funny to watch someone’s passive aggressiveness or backhanded compliments go sailing over his head. I don’t see Al really, truly hating anyone, unless they were obnoxiously antagonistic for a long, long period of time (or, y’know, talking shit about his sisters, that will always start something).

She is ambitious and, unlike some of my other characters, not the nicest sort; she’s got big plans for her future that may or may not come to fruition! Best suited for threads with sarcasm and banter, nothing too soft or casual. Would definitely participate in antagonistic threads with those her own age or older. Friends. Unlikely friends with troublemaker James Fletcher and best friends the extroverted president of the gardening club Antelope Grace, I am obviously and unabashedly a fan of the comedic trope “local extrovert adopts unsuspecting introvert” and all the hilarity that such a dynamic can cause of Cori. She doesn’t sport a large friend group – both by choice and inadvertently – but she isn’t entirely a/antisocial; age, gender, class or blood status don’t really matter to her, though likely all of her friendships have been forged in classes or largely initiated by the other party(ies) involved.
...Romance? Cori has not only not debuted/come out yet, but she is probably the least romantically interested of my characters currently - she likely sees marriage, courtship, or even just flirting as the beginning of the end of her ambitions and plans for the future… But if you’d like to have her be the focus of someone’s unrequited love, she can definitely be a heart-breaker - flirt with Miss Dursley at your own risk lol possibly could become a hurling opinion in the distant future, when she feels secure in her job, at least in the sense of someone making her feel things (how dare they)
Enemies/Rivals: I’d love for her to have some antagonistic relationships (and threads), as she’s definitely rubbed people the wrong way while in school. She sees rivalries as beneath her – that she has nothing to prove to anyone but (mostly) herself read: what is a rival but a crush you’re mad about lol – but any (and all) negative or spiteful attention directed openly towards her will, unapologetically, be reciprocated; even if she thinks someone else hating her is their problem, she is not somebody that goes out of her way to try and make others like her. While she has learned to bite her tongue at home for the moment and tries not to be too unladylike in her mannerisms, it’s not in her nature to stand by idly when someone is being hateful.
Fellow Club Members! Cori is a proud member of Dueling Club (she seems to take it far too seriously) and also participates in the Wizard Chess club Hogwarts hosts.
Other: Cori is very close with her brother , who is on the Ravenclaw quidditch team and so you can often find her at any games he is playing in, supporting him as best she can even though she isn’t on big sports personally. She’s also got an uncomfortably (for her) large soft spot for younger peers.

Friends? When Agatha Griffith, Nell’s unfashionably young aunt, was in school, young Nell was usually tipping about in her shadow; now that her best (and only) friend has graduated, she’s lonely… though she tries not think of herself as such, because then she’d be pitying herself (and Father says that’s unbecoming a girl, makes her ugly)… From following Agatha about, Nell – with her memory for faces – tends to know of many people without being too personable. I’d like her to find a few people she can let in and be close with! Anyone who can get past the walls protecting her will find someone that makes terrible jokes, awkwardly offers hugs, laughs often and smiles just as much – simply a kind person that gives freely of herself and her time.
Classmates! It was likely a surprise to find her back at Hogwarts for her sixth year, seeing as her father was purportedly pulling her from school after her fifth year in order to marry! Nonetheless, the odd and asocial teenager is back in the halls – rumor has it she’s left her parents behind to live with her equally odd uncle and Professor of Alchemy – and is going to have to interact with her classmates. Between taking the maximum number of classes for a NEWT student and four clubs, Nells is probably a face her classmates can place a name with but, as normally tries to blend in the with the wallpaper, don’t know too well; she’d rather live on the peripherals of others’ lives, because there is safety in being overlooked, in anonymity. However, that can’t always be the case! (not if I have anything to say about it, at least lol)
Former Marriage Prospects: Towards the start of her fifth year, Nell was informed by her father’s letter that this would be her last year at Hogwarts, but not because she’d be going to a nice finishing school – no, it would be because she was getting married in order to better the family situation. Undoubtedly, Gilbert Griffith courted many well-to-do families during that year in the process of trying to find a wealthy (or, at least, wealthier than the Griffith’s) son/heir for his only child… Perhaps one of your young gents was from one of these families? Maybe even one of your boys was a former marriage prospect for the odd young Miss Griffith? Despite Nellie now being off the market (thanks to her Uncle), I’d like to think at least a few of her classmates to had been considered/made aware of an attempt at a match with the melancholy and awkward girl – if just for the awkwardness of it all, at least on Nell’s part. (No doubt Gilbert described a very different read: unrealistic version of Nell to possible marriage prospects, though whether the real Nell you run into disappoints in comparison or not is up to debate ;3) These fellows are likely MC, but since the Griffiths were originally UC, I could see Gilbert trying his luck with some lower rung UC families too.
Do you know Uncle Sam? Nell is, if possible, more skittish around adults than her classmates, and tries to give them a respectful distance; but, on occasions when she cannot, she uses her people pleasing tendencies to try and make sure the adults in her life are happy with her. Do you know her uncle, by chance: Professor Samuel Griffith? As his new, unofficial ward, you might also know Nell!
Fellow Club Members. Nell is in four clubs: Art, Astronomy, Book, and Creatures Club. She’s a highly creative spirit – something that runs in the family – albeit very shy about it and finds outlets for her imagination in both Art and Book clubs. She adores her COMC class, which prompted her to join the Creatures club (animals, including most magical beasts, are much easier for her to deal with than people). As her anxiety and stress make sleep difficult for her, she also hopped into the Astronomy club last minute to ignore the stress instead of dealing with it be productive. I think through her clubs she has made some tentative friendships (at least, from her perspective) but it’s very obvious she’s trying to fill her life with activities in a slapdash form of escapism.

Joni is suited for any type of thread, honestly, from casual to serious; she’s got character and such a sunny, hard-won type of optimism that I can’t really restrict her to any specific type of thread or plot thematically. Since I don’t have any big plans for her future, I think she’d suit well as a turning point or catalyst in someone else’s plot/story-line, for better or worse.
Friends! Joni is a friendly sort, always quick to offer a smile and make small talk with just about anyone (despite her heritage, she has great customer service). If you’re in need of shoulder to lean on or a friendly ear (or just someone intimidatingly tall to loiter next to you at night), Jo is always open to meeting new people no matter the situation! She rarely takes offense to socially awkward types or those that are excessively blunt and I’d like her to have some genuine friendships.
bigots Enemies: With such radiant energy, it’s hard to think that Joni would have people that don’t like her… but it this is Victorian England and she is, quite obviously, some part giant. So that reason is enough for people to dislike her – I welcome threads where she is reminded of why she doesn’t enjoy “civilized” society lol.
Hurling(if you dare) For the reasons stated above, Jo is not… a traditional hurling option for the vastly human majority of magical England – but, hey, maybe your character doesn’t care (or cares too much). Either way, she’s open to both causal and more serious hurling opportunities – she has a general preference for men but sometimes a lucky lady can catch her eye. who wants a tall, strong girlfriend/wife?
Other! As you can see, Jojo doesn’t have as much detail in her wants/ideas area: this is largely due to the fact I don’t have any big plans for Joni – I’m really just here to explore her character and help other people explore theirs through her! Rhoda is not a light-hearted character; they’re more orientated towards threads that are rough, bloody, and dark supernatural. Their current plot line revolves around their BIL, his lycanthropic secret, and their nephews, but they’re the type that easily dipped their feet into the dark underbelly of Magical London and are likely to do so again. They are heavily intellectual with the moral backbone of a vine creeping along the forest leaf litter – which is to say, they’ve dabbled in the darker arts in their time in the rural lands of Wizarding Europe and likely to continue even though they are back in “proper” society.

Family. Same with Alastair, in the first post of this thread are links to Mr. Lewis – their BIL and potential, uncertain love interest – and their two nephews they’re suddenly helping to raise. Rhoda has never had family matter very much to them - at least not until now. And, mainly, this is due to them realizing what they’ll never have with Ralph. I would love any of these boys to be picked up!
Colleagues, Old & New: While Rho is currently a mediwitch as Hogsmeade Hospital (as its more conveniently located), they were also one at St. Mungo’s for about 4 years; to say they have plenty of coworkers, former or present, would be an understatement. I imagine those that knew them from St. Mungo’s would be surprised to hear Rho is back, considering how abruptly they quit their old job and eloped to the continent. I don’t think Rho was particularly close with anyone, but they would have been a hard person to forget (especially with the kind of public splash that came in the wake of their departure: Ralph Morris was a werewolf, after all!) In Hogsmeade Hospital, they’re probably surrounded by rumor and some intrigue, but it’s already obvious that they’re painfully astute and smart… if a bit lazy lol.
Did You Know Him? While a few classmates might remember Rho personally, many more former Hogwarts students in their year likely remember Ralph best: boisterous, pugnacious, and a touch self-righteous (some would say he exhibited all the worst traits of a Gryffindor). Even when he dropped out of school, he was aways a big fat extrovert (if a bit obtuse too) and likely reconnected as many friends and acquaintances as possible when he popped back up on the radar from his private “incident”. In all those times, Rho has been an alibi, a nurse, or just simply a shadow, loitering over his shoulder and dragged into his shenanigans – so you probably know their face!
Less Savory Sorts: Rho – under the late Ralph Morris’ name – was involved with a smuggling ring as an impromptu healer; though this group I can see Rho having met a lot more shady characters (i.e. poachers, black market salesmen, gang members, etc.) during their time “working” for this group. Do they seem familiar to you?
Hurling… Somewhat. Despite having a potential LI, I will say Rho is open to casual hurling – after all, as advertised, Mr. Lewis may not be an end-game deal. They’re not to type to jump into physical relations right off the bat, but can be enticed into emotional affairs over time – especially if your character has a darker side. Rho may or may not have a thing for men that aren’t as smart as them (see: Ralph, who barely made it through school on their coattails), but that remains to be seen! If you want to test the waters with these two, I’m open to anything <3

I have options for a few:
- Rho: is a secretary by day, but by night she's respected lycanthropy researcher Marlowe Forfang. She publishes academic articles and is known to be sympathetic to werewolves (in opposition to Emerett Picardy, who is another contemporary researcher and has advocated for werewolf extermination/etc). She would be very interested in interviewing Rho now that they're in the country again! Either through letters or if they happened to run into each other Jules could be like, making eyes and asking probing questions but trying not to give away why she's interested... possibly prodding until Rhoda blows up at her :P
- Joni: I have no specific thoughts but do play her employer if you want to do anything there!
- Al: I have hurling options! Emrys (male) or Dru (female) are probably the best candidates. Both are married but open to extramarital affairs, not sure how he would feel about that.
I have to look at everyone I have, but right off the bat:
Reg is the same age as Alastair, so they definitely overlapped at Hogwarts all seven years lol. He used to be a Sports Reporter for the DP so I’m sure he was all up in his business. Hs also lives in an apartment in London, so they could be neighbors lol. Either way, friendly? Friends?
Corrine, I have Glynn” who is a fifth year Ravenclaw. (Tagging doesn’t ever work for me mobile lol)
was pleased as once to see her friend win the duelling competition. I'd love to see them have more threading time. is in her year but is about to leave school but might show up in upper class social stuff after she does. is also potentially leaving school at the end of the year as is a first year Huffle.
is in the same year as and is a very nice boy who fosters good friendships with people. He's possibly particularly familiar to her too due to his close friendship and poorly kept secret affections for her younger housemate
For your adults, is always about for a thread, as is for a "why is she wearing trousers?" hurling option.

I really think that suits Rho perfectly! Maybe this “Professor Marlow Forfang” wrote Rhoda at some point after they got back (maybe recently?), asking for an interview via post but Rho didn’t deign the energy to respond worth it; now, however, they’ve run into Juliana? Could be the start of an interesting thread!
Maybe a short thread between Joni and Edward? Could be fun to see this unconventional choice for a bookstore employee interact with one of her bosses - could be an inventory day or something, she’s doing a surprising amount of the heavy lifting to help out? Not necessary, but just a thought <3
Al would not intentionally get caught up in an extramarital affair, but could accidentally start to fall into something emotional with either before realizing what it is (hopefully before it gets physical lol)! Either way, it would probably not carry on for too long, though Al would try to bow out amicably. With Emery, could be a kind of awakening of sorts on Al’s end before he backpedals out; or maybe he’s exciting enough for Dru but is oblivious to it until it’s almost too late (one upside, could end up being a good friend to her after it ends if she lets him). Yes! I would love Antelope and Cori to have more threads; perhaps something about the dueling competition? I think Cori has some… confiding (or as close as she gets) to do in her good friend, if Annie can weasel it out of her <3
But for class - Rhoda's plot would dovetail with pretty well, but she would know , she's a werewolf adjacent animgus so they might be able to see a way to confiding each other at some point.
I have and for your school folks - Emma needs some confidants as she's engaged to a professor and fixing to make some terrible life choices!
Yuri is a genuine 'nice guy' but very rough around the ages and would be someone else's terrible life choice

ALASTAIR: was in his year at school (Ravenclaw) and originally wanted to be an Auror, but dropped out before he finished training and then took over sponsorship of the Cannons from his late father which made him, awkwardly for him, many of his old schoolmates' boss. xD He's gotten more invested in the team over the last couple years so is here for anything quidditch related! He is also friends with Reg!
was two years above him but also in Gryffindor, and they were beaters on the Gryff team at the same time!! Tyb is fairly similar in personality and also went into pro quidditch, starting on the Cannons but he moved onto the Howlers just before Alastair started and retired relatively young so that he could earn enough money to settle down and get married. He always needs bros, badly xD
is also his age (MC, muggleborn, Slytherin), and in my heart she was bad at her couple years as a debutante in society bc she just hung out platonically with the boys her age and didn't meet anyone new. She is a no-nonsense lesbian and works at the Ministry so may also get on with his cool sisters as well but a himbo friend would be delightful to me.
CORINNE: I have nothing new for her, just here to say how much I enjoy her and Jimmy hanging out xDDD
ELEANOR: is the headmaster and also has something of a rivalry with her Uncle Sam (mostly Phineas being jealous and bitchy) but I can see him picking on Nell if he came across her for any reason in the school just for her surname.
JONI:'s father and ex-best friend are the co-owners of the bookshop she works at, and whilst Nick doesn't set foot in there anymore he IS super nosy about what they are getting up to in a jealous way so he might go digging if he ever met Joni out in London. He would be nice-ish to her face if he wanted gossip but probably rude about her behind her back.
She would be so welcome to hang out at the dingy Augurey Beak Cafe in London with and pals – they are a group of political leftists of varying backgrounds so are accepting of all outcasts and misfits, could be friends. Jude ran for Minister in 1893 and came second so is vaguely notorious.
may live in Joni's kind of areas of London and is also fairly notorious and disreputable but also very friendly and motherly to any misfits xD potentially for a friend, he is a weird man so cannot knock anyone else for being eccentric.
RHODA: Again, I have Jude, whose bf is secretly a werewolf; saw the words "gothic" and "macabre" in Rhoda's profile and was like HELLO; who is Sage's sister, ardently progressive, and ALSO quietly has ~weird feelings re: gender. They were the same year at Hogwarts and should def reconnect now, I think they could be great friends and allies!

Emma is the president of the creatures club, right? Everyone has had such good suggestions for my himbo Can I say yes to all of them? (At some point, at least lol) Depending on who you’d like (or need) to have a thread with more, I’m down for any of them! Obliviously, Al considers himself on good terms with Theodore – he’s probably (still) very excited that the nerd fella is finally interested in managing the team properly. The two could have a thread about/around quidditch practice? And himb®os gotta stick together - so Tybalt and Al can hang out anytime <3 Just two bros getting drinks. Effie and Al need to have some history together: if they ever crossed paths, he would have definitely been the type of bloke she could hang around with no expectations at society events, just happy to have a friend lol He would be very unabashed in trying to get her to loosen up

I have for Rhoda - he's a werewolf but he also writes about werewolves and other creatures for the Daily Prophet. Could go to Hogsmeade Hospital asking about creature injuries that the mediwitches see !
