EDIT: See Below for the latest details/tracking status.
(For those not familiar with the real world game, see Humans vs Zombie)
After a fantastic brainstorming session with MJ, I'm presenting a suggestion for a summer game played between Hogwarts students in/around Hogsmeade (probably Magical London, too, if you're based there in the summer, it might be hard anywhere else). Like in HvZ, all players barring a select few start out as alive, aka a Wizard or Witch, and wear an enchanted-white strip of cloth that can be worn as an armband/headband/etc to signify their status to other players.
When you're hit by a spell (Finite/general counter-spell) from an Inferi, you are dead, and your status band turns black.
There will be some safe places indoors, probably some safe days of the week, and technically students shouldn't be using their wands outside of school. So the game is more on the down-low and done in a sneaky fashion. (Which, naturally, is why some of the players may decide to make it flashy and loud as suits their personalities.)
Looking for interest and writers who'd want their Hogwarts (or similarly aged dropouts who can 'acquire' the right cloth band to participate) student to play WvI during the summer. And you're very welcome to want to start out as the Inferi, too, or be one by the time you first write your character playing.
