"No one has said anything to me, Alice, I didn't know you'd told them," Calla blurted, a crestfallen look washing over her face as her fist unfurled, her whole body wilting into her words. As much as she argued with Alice this year, the brunette still cared immensely for the other girl, and watching her turn to leave was like yet another wrench to the heart. Even more so knowing this would be their last night together ever in these walls, it wasn't how she'd wanted to spend the night. She never should have said anything. Just put on a smile and pretended for the night as she did with everyone but Alice. Like she'd said she would've.
"I'm sorry! Really," Calla called out to Alice's retreating form before she stood, torn of if it was even worth staying at this point, or if she should just go back downstairs. She'd seen all of her roommates here, she'd have the room to herself for a least another few hours.
