Though a bit surprised, Gerard knew he had nothing to do at home, as he had asked his father to excuse him from work while he discussed lessons. As it had gone quickly, it was hardly polite to decline a lesson, so he did not. "I think it would be alright."

Damen clapped once with happiness as a smile reflected in his eyes. "Perfect! What better way to assess a tutor than to have a lesson? Come. Let us go back to the shop." He said and lead the way back out, all the way to a long glass case holding several violins. "Take your pick to practice with." ((Ooc: You may choose how it looks.))

Following Mr. Thornton, Gerard found himself looking at the violins. He decided upon one that was relatively simple, and held it out. "This one looks nice," he said.
