Did You Know?
Queen Victoria was known for putting jackets and dresses on her pups, causing clothing for dogs to become so popular that fashion houses for just dog clothes started popping up all over Paris. — Fox
It would be easy to assume that Evangeline came to the Lady Morgana only to pick fights. That wasn't true at all. They also had very good biscuits.

As she leaned in, Fitzroy pulled away. He could not have said what made him do it—perhaps the sudden remembrance that she was from a good family, of his acquaintance with her father and brother and hot stepmother. Perhaps the publicity of their setting. Perhaps those damn scruples.

Then his eyes locked with hers and his mouth was back on hers, far hungrier now as one hand found purchase on the back of her neck, holding her fast against him, and the other gripped tightly to her backside.

Had she done anything wrong? When he pulled away, Cee feared that she'd done something to turn him off. She didn't have any experience in kissing and it was very likely that she'd done embarrassingly on that front.

But then Mr. Prewett kissed her again and this time more passionately. Cee's breathing stopped mid-kiss when he brought his hand on her neck and she flinched when his other hand touched the back of her skirt. Even though it was made out of a heavy winter fabric, Cee felt like Mr. Prewett's hand could burn through it.

She mirrored him and with one hand grabbed onto his blazer's lapel, while the other found its way through his hair.

This was very inappropriate and her muggle aunt would kill her if she found them like this, but she couldn't stop. This was the first time in her twenty years of life that she'd experienced such pleasure and who knew when she'd find herself in such a situation again?

Merlin but her body was soft and supple and new and she was eager and he was hard and there was a woman shrieking and—

Wait, no, that last bit was not good.

Fitz pulled away from Miss Gallivan abruptly, fingers of one hand still resting on the back of her neck, staring wide-eyed at the intruder as he tried to make some sense of the situation.

It was all fun and games until her aunt caught them.

Understandably, when Mrs. Gallivan lost sight of her niece, she started looking for her around the exhibition. It didn't help that Cecily Gallivan was almost unknown to muggle society, so those in attendance couldn't be of much help. She'd started to worry that something bad had happened to the girl when something pushed her towards the enclave.

Cee's eyes widened and she froze.

Then, she pulled herself away from Mr. Prewett's embrace, took her wand out and swiftly cast a spell on her aunt which caused her to drop on the ground, unconscious. Then, she turned around to the man. "Leave, now!" she commanded as she exited the enclave and knelt by her aunt.

She hoped that her fainted aunt would be too distracting for anyone to hear the characterizing 'pop' that apparition made.

A great deal of things were happening at once:
  1. The pair were caught.
  2. Miss Gallivan fired a jinx at the woman who had caught them, sending her swooning to the floor.
  3. The trouser situation.
Fitz did not think museum openings were typically so eventful, nor debutantes so...ready with a spell to thwart would-be ruin. In spite of Miss Gallivan's instruction for him to leave, Fitz was filled very much with a desire to stay and to watch how this rather unbelievable chain of events came to a conclusion. It was, however, her reputation on the line—even if this was merely muggle society—and today would not be the day he would face down death or the vicar.

With one last look at the girl, his expression a mixture of disbelief and impressed, Fitz disapparated from the scene like a thief in the night.

Cee sighed with relief when she heard Mr. Prewett disapparate. This happened around the time when one of the muggles noticed her and her aunt and came rushing to their side.

"I don't know what happened! She was alright and then she suddenly fainted!" Thankfully, she still carried the shock of being discovered that the muggle believed her. He insisted on escorting them to the Gallivan home, but Cee assured her that he needn't worry about them.

She needed to be alone with her aunt.

Once inside the carriage, Cee cast a simple memory charm they had been taught in one of her NEWT classes. When her aunt woke up later that day, she did seem to have forgotten what she'd witnessed.

But then she'd appeared very absent-minded in general.

Cee tried not to think that she'd done any lasting damage to her aunt's brain.
