— Dear Pen Pal —I do hope this letter finds you in good health, though I'm quite sure it will. In the off chance this finds you in poorly condition, my many thoughts to your health and speedy recovery.

I'm sure you are aware why you're receiving this letter, so in the interest of getting to the point, I would ask how you are fairing this autumn season? The colder weather is certainly upon us — a dreary season if there ever was one, though I can't find myself complaining too much given that we have warm beds to return to with full bellies.

What is your favorite season?

It most certainly does, thank you. And I hope the same can be said of you. It is approaching the season that finds the infirmary full of students in need of Pepper Up Potions so I hope you are keeping yourself well.

*As I had said in my last letter, I am not quite skilled with social commentary so I hope you might forgive any inadequacies that I present during this assignment. My friends have almost always been books.

My favorite season is Winter. What are some of your favorite books?
