Appearance: The epitome of "tall, dark and handsome" Leon uses all three to his advantage whenever he can. While not very broad, he stands at an admirable 6 feet even. His features are dark and rugged. With a deep mahogany sheen to his hair that is always in a casual but sexy disarray and charming grey eyes, Leon is a looker from head to toe. He has spent quite a bit of his life on the sea, so he's toned and tanned from the hard work and exposure to the sun's rays. He sports quite a few scars from his life at sea, but now dresses spectacularly well in the day's latest fashions for men. He is typically sporting some scruff of some kind, but purely because he thinks it makes him look a little more dangerous; which the ladies tend to like. He is right-handed.

History: Leonard Lloyd Lupin came into the world one cold January night to Virginia and Harold Lupin their first and only child. Virginia would have a terrible labor to give birth to a healthy, large baby boy, only to pass away a few days after his birth. Harold, the owner of a wealthy merchant fleet of ships from Aberdeen, Scotland slowly drank himself to death over the course of the next two years, leaving Leon in the care of his sister and her husband. Elodie and her husband Kane were partners in the shipping company and raised Leon as their own. He knew little at the time of what had transpired in the years following his birth, but Leon was raised in a loving household.

Elodie had always been a sickly woman, having had lots of health issues from the day she was born, but Kane was a strong, kind man who raised Leon out on the sea as much as he did on land. Leon loved sailing and the feeling of the wind at his back and the sun on his face as much as he loved his aunt and uncle and up until he was eleven and sent off to Hogwarts he was allowed to travel with his uncle, if his aunt was feeling well enough to stay home by herself.

Upon receipt of his Hogwarts letter, Leon was thrilled. He loved being social and meeting new people and earning their trust and getting to know them. It was little surprise when he was sorted into Slytherin at his first feast. Leon enjoyed worming his way into people's lives and enjoyed being the center of attention even more. Having grown up an only child his entire life, he was quite used to it and wouldn't have it any other way. It was at school where he met his roommate Thomas Pettigrew and the two hit it off immediately, despite their obvious differences. Leon was tall and good-looking, suave and sophisticated, Thom was not, but the two were fast friends and Leon always stuck up for Thom while at school. The two were always into some kind of shenanigans; no doubt something Leon sweet-talked his way out of in the end. Thom was a people-pleaser, trying to do anything and everything where Leon preferred that people came to him and he attracted them from all different sorts of places. His giant ego was ever-inflated by the amorous eyes of several girls around him and jealous looks from his fellow guys. Leon was never particularly good at school or sports but he was suave enough to make up for that. What he was good at was business. He could get his hands on just about anything anybody wanted; for the right prices, which was always very high. He had watched his uncle deal with people for so long on the ships that it was second nature to him.

Graduation came and went and off when Thom in his own direction. Leon had never had to do particularly well in school because he always knew he had the shipping business to rely on back at home. His father's share was still his. In his first year back at sea, Kane passed away of a serious case of pneumonia, contracted while he was out at sea. He had a proper burial back at home. Not six months later, Elodie died of a broken heart, leaving Leon entirely alone in the world. He adapted quickly, burying his emotions deep in his chest and pushing on. He had things to do, places to go and people to see; money to make, always money to make. He took his ability to turn a phrase and in turn, turn a coin. He was independently wealthy by the time he was twenty-one, having the shipping company still under his name.

Things were going well, he was successful, and he had seen most of the world, there wasn't much else out there. He had seen far too many things go wrong for people in love, so he had given up entirely on the notion, writing it off as utterly ridiculous. A letter from Thom intrigued him to the point that in the spring after his twenty-seventh birthday, Leon investigated the sleepy little town of Hogsmeade, but found it far to quiet for his tastes. That summer however, while many were out struggling on the expansion trail, Leon got himself in with the wrong people and in a pinch even he couldn't talk his way out of. Deciding he best make while he could, Leon sold all but one of his ships, keeping his favorite for himself, docked at an undisclosed port until further notice. Hearing from Thom again, this time about the addition of Irvingly as a place of residence, Leon decided to up and move, figuring the middle of nowhere was as good a place as any to retire and open his shop.

He has since founded Lost & Found and upscale antique and pawn shop in the muggle town, having dealt with both muggles and wizards alike in his business. While he is glad to be a wizard, he also finds muggles to be invaluable as a source of income. Their penchant to want the mysterious has always worked well in his favor. He opened the shop in early October of 1882 and lives in a lavish apartment above the storefront.

Personality: sly, suave, charismatic, easy-going, smooth talker, genial, sneaky, loyal to those who deserve it, flirtatious, extravagant, arrogant, self-centered, obsessed with money
